Big sherry notes are quite obvious with muscovado, stewed apples, soft spice, juicy red fruits along with smoked meat. A chewy whisky with very long finish and salty undertones. 
Cadenhead Caperdonich 35 Years Speyside Single Malt, Distilled in 1977, matured in a sherry butt and bottled in 2013, 384 bottles were released at an impressive ABV of 50.2%. Caperdonich distillery was demolished in 2010. Big sherry notes, soft spice, red fruits along with smoked meat. Long finish and chewy.
