Ledaig 2009 15 Year Old Silver Seal Scotch Whisky distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024. This limited edition release, drawn from Cask No. 11063, is limited to 300 bottles worldwide. An independent bottling by Silver Seal exclusively bottling for Mizunara's 10th Anniversary.

The label features the Pica Serica, a symbol of good fortune and auspiciousness. In Chinese culture, these charming birds are seen as messengers of good news, embodying hope and blessings.

This lovely peat smoke whisky promises a unique and memorable tasting experience.

Color: Gold Nose: Vibrant aroma with sweet smoke, a subtle hint of ash alongside some toffee, zesty and buttery lemon tart Palate: A mix of some lightly smoked orchard fruits with hints of dried fruit, seaweed and spices. Add some water and caramel sweetness kicks  in with some barbecued honey bacon Finish: Some spices and subtle smoke at the back end.

Only 251 bottles were released. Nose: Fresh green fruits, pear, crunchy apple, caramel, honey and plums Taste: Initial sweetness is balanced with fruity plum and some hot spices Finish: Spices, hint of cardamom and black tea with a warming finish (medium- long).

Taste: Candied sweetness, Some nuttiness followed by salted caramel and spices. Finish: Long with warm spices like cloves and cinnamon.

We would highly recommend to add water to see how this whisky evolves beautifully with enhanced citrus and sweet mandarin notes combined with some baked tarts balanced with some minerality and saltiness. A very enjoyable whisky indeed.

This 1988 Vintage 35 Years Old from the Bunnahabhain Distillery is a special bottling by Whisky Antique (Silver Seal) from a Single Cask #1024. Matured in a Sherry Cask for 35 Years and bottled at 46.5% this release of 60 bottles has a special label designed by The East Asia Whisky Company under the Manta Ray Genesis Edition.

The label captures the silhouette of a majestic Manta Ray made visible by the dark emerald and frigid pink clouds that emanate from its dotted pattern radiating in the colors of the marine environment it inhabits.

Whisky Fun Extract: Colour: mahogany. Nose: this is more old-school than the House of Lords. Not talking about the Scotch whisky. Prunes, old cognac, dates, chocolate, figs, whiffs of moss and old pine wood, a few mushrooms and a little liquorice, plus a few roasted nuts, especially pecans. Mouth: we're deeply reminded of some old Speyside malts by G&M. Like pre-war, bottled in the 1970s and 1980s. It is a time machine! More bouillons, chocolate, pipe tobacco, liquorice, truffles, puréed chestnuts, pears poached in Sauternes, very old Sauternes, very old Malaga… It is definitely very 'antique'. I would love to watch young whisky enthusiasts tasting this whisky, or similar whiskies, for the very first time. It would undoubtedly be a real revelation, as they are becoming so rare. Finish: rather long, rather sublime to tell you the truth. Comments: as I sometimes say, we could spend hours sipping a magnum of each to try, and fail to decide which one, between the Kinship and the Silver Seal, is our favourite. Slight nick on the front box. Please also note the level of the Whisky. Sold in "As Is" Condition.

The Sestante import company, established around the 1970s by Ernesto Mainardi (who previously worked for Pinerolo Import well known for its Macallan imports into Italy), usually bottled at ABVs of 40-46% bottlings and cask strength releases from the same casks. Along with Silver Seal (another brand established by him), Mainardi's bottlings are incredibly sought after.

Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following. Distilled in 1982 (just prior to be closed), this is a rare magnum (1.5 litre) release by Silver Seal bottled in 2004. Only 60 such bottles were released.

This Caol Ila Whisky distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022, is matured in a single cask #4079 and bottled at a Natural Cask Strength of 54.1% ABV. Only 255 bottles were released. Nose: A burst of peat smoke, earthy notes, salty seaweed, dried meat, honey syrup at the back, roasty, and dried plum sweetness at the back. Taste: Dried fruit sweetness with salted cararmel, grassy notes, and peat smoke. Finish: A warming finish with dark chocolate.

A commemorative bottling for the 30th anniversary collection of Silver Seal. Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2010, this special bottling by Silver Seal offers rich, fruity, and earthy flavours together with some notes of orange and toffee. A high quality bottle which Scored 5 stars (90 points) on Whiskyfun. Only 227 bottles were release. Bottle no. 200 of 227. 

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000, which was his second bottling company after the esteemed Sestante established in 1979. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi, proprietor of Whisky Antique, in 2010.

The box is damaged as indicated in the images. Labels of the bottle are slightly stained. Level of whisky: Middle neck. Please examine the pictures closely before purchasing. Sold in "As Is" Condition.
