First distilled in Campbeltown 1973, Longrow is the double distilled Islay style, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery.  This is the core expression of Longrow. Nose: Salt and seaweed, smoky, apricot and fine peated. Palate: Subtle sweetness and light, clear smoky and peaty. Finish: Medium long, some salty somky and warm.

The Longrow 18 years uses peat dried malt for 48 hours to give  a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year and this one bottled in 2022 is matured in 100% sherry cask.

This Longrow 18 years is a limited edtion, and reportedly a vatting of 60% matured in refill sherry casks and 40% in bourbon casks, bottled in 2017 with 4500 bottles released. Nose: sweet fruits, vanilla, oak with smoke and maritime notes Palate: very creamy and oily mouth feel with grapefruits, passion fruit, caramel and more red fruits Finish: wonderful balance of salty smoke and subtle sweetness of some dark fruits perhaps coming from the refill sherry cask with a dry and long finish.

This Longrow "Red" Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured for 7 years in bourbon barrels followed by 3 years in refill Malbec barriques from the De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Africa. 10,000 bottles at cask strength were released in 2020.

This Longrow Red single malt whisky has been matured for 11 years in bourbon barrels followed by 4 years in fresh Pinot Noir barriques from acclaimed wine maker Grant Taylor's Valli vineyards in Central Otago, New Zealand. Nose: Lots of wine flavour, fresh and bit smoky, some red fruit like cherry and floral nosing. Palate: Smooth and sweet red grapes and black fruit, oak flavour, nutty, cloves Finish: Long finish, smoky and tobacco with little sweet fruits in the background.

Longrow 1994 vintage is reportedly matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Vintage releases have since been discontinued by the Distillery. Nose: Subtle fruity mix of smoke and wood, a bit of peat, sea salt and seaweed Palate: Sweetness, honey and vanilla, along with some peppery notes and hint of peat Finish: Lingering peat and smoke.

Matured for 8 years in refill bourbon barrels and an additional 2 years in fresh Tokaji (Hungarian Sweet Wine) casks this 1995 vintage Longrow is part of the wood expressions released by the Distillery in 2005 with an outturn of 7440 bottles. Nose: Sweet mix of raisins, plums and caramel, a bit of peat and light smoke with tobacco Palate: Dry and full bodied with a creamy touch, full of the berries and raisins with some herbs and peat Finish: A long finish of berry jam and toffee apple with hints of spicy smoke at the end.

Please note that the condition of the box/packaging (there is a wear and tear given that the bottle was released in 2005). However, bottle and the seal is in good condition. Sold in "As Is" condition.

This Longrow 21 years is a limited edtion, reportedly matured in 60% of sherry cask and 40% of bourbon cask, bottled in 2019 with 3600 bottles released. Nose: A sweet yet meaty dram there are aromas of glazed cherries and cured salty meats. Stewed dark plummy notes and chewy black wine gums. Maple syrup and crispy bacon with a medicinal influence from the robust peat smoke. It seems brighter on the nose with a touch of zesty orange peel. Palate: Sweet, smoky and waxy with a twist of citrus. Caramel shortbread with marzipan, lemon zest and a dusting of icing sugar. Waxy crayons and rich dried fruits with a touch of clove spiciness. Finish: Sweet, smoky and waxy with a twist of citrus. Caramel shortbread with marzipan, lemon zest and a dusting of icing sugar.
