One of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, G&M derived its name from its two founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail and was originally established on 25 May 1895 as a grocery. The "Distillery Labels" are a series of bottlings that carry a distillery specific designed label licensed to G&M by the distillery itself.

Pōkeno distillery nestled in a warm, misty, humid valley protected by the volcanic hills which from which they source their pure natural spring water and sourced the finest barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's richly fertile South Island.

This is in fact a doublewood. We have combined whiskies matured in first fill bourbon barrels and PX Hogsheads, into a PX hogshead for a marrying period of several months. 

Nose: An enticing aroma of citrus intertwined with rich, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Palate: A harmonious blend of flavors including black forest gâteau, complemented by the deep, luscious notes from the PX cask. Finish: A deep and lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression. 

Bottled exclusively for MIZUNARA at cask strength, this rich and complex whisky is a true testament to the craftsmanship of Pōkeno Distillery, perfect for those seeking a unique and luxurious drinking experience.

The Label is a combination of both the earlier bottlings in the SADO Series.

This Single Cask Whisky has been matured exclusively for 8 years in a Bourbon Cask.  

Nose: Floral sweetness, lemon, vanilla and soft peak smoke. Palate: Lemon and citrus, butterscotch sweetness and hint of saltiness on the back. Finish: Long and clean with waves of citrus fruits and maritime peat smoke.

Taste: Candied sweetness, Some nuttiness followed by salted caramel and spices. Finish: Long with warm spices like cloves and cinnamon.

We would highly recommend to add water to see how this whisky evolves beautifully with enhanced citrus and sweet mandarin notes combined with some baked tarts balanced with some minerality and saltiness. A very enjoyable whisky indeed.

Only 251 bottles were released. Nose: Fresh green fruits, pear, crunchy apple, caramel, honey and plums Taste: Initial sweetness is balanced with fruity plum and some hot spices Finish: Spices, hint of cardamom and black tea with a warming finish (medium- long).

This is a Single Cask #7107 from Clynelish matured in a Hogshead for 18 years. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2016 at a Cask Strength ABV of 52% by Kingsbury under its "Celtic Labels". Kingsbury has been one of the most sought after Independent Bottlers with its roots in Japan.

Nose: coffee and bitter orange. Palate: a rich mouthfeel with some dried fruit, nuts and marmalade Finish: warming, complex whisky with a dry finish and a slightly salty ending. Rated 89+ on Whiskybase. A total of 242 bottles were released.

This is a single cask #10198 from Clyenlish matured in bourbon hogshead for 21 years and bottled by Kingsbury at Cask Strength under its "Celtic Labels". Kingsbury has been one of the most sought after Independent Bottlers with its roots in Japan.

Nose: Honey with candied citrus fruit and bees wax Palate: The texture is firm and clean with big bold fruits present along with vanilla. Adding water enhances the notes. Finish: some sea salt and a whiff of smoke. 

 Rated 90+ on Whiskybase. Only 245 bottles were released. 

A 1992 vintage malt from the closed distillery Littlemill, which closed in the 1990s. This whisky was matured in Cask #11 and bottled in 2013 at an impressive ABV of 54.5%.

Only 121 bottles were released for this bottling of Littlemill in 2011. Matured in a Refill Hogshead this is bottled at 50% under the Old Malt Cask series by Douglas Laing & Co. Nose: spicy, clean and sweet with gentle barley tones Palate: still, overtly and warmly spiced with a sweet gristiness Finish: lightly butterscotch in style and camphor character (Bottler Tasting Notes). 

Please note the tear/damage on the front label. Sold in "As Is" Condition.

Only 130 bottles were released from this Refill Hogshead matured Littlemill. Bottled at 50% under the Old Malt Cask series by Hunter Laing. An August 2013 bottling just after the split of the Independent Bottler Dounglas Laing amongst the two brothers Freddie and Stewart into Douglas Laing (Freddie) and Hunter Laing (Stewart) whereby the Old Malt Cask range was brought over to Hunter Laing. See the OMC bottling of Strathisla just prior to the split in 2013 under the Douglas Laing Co. Ltd.

Nose: sweet leafy orchard fruits slightly butter peppery Palate: sweet mellow spicy cinnamon apple skins Finish: long spicy with definite oaky note at the end.
