Blackadder Inchgower 20 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was independently bottled by Blackadder as Raw Cask Statement Edition No. 12 to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Distilled in July 1995 and bottled in September 2015 after 20 years in a single sherry butt, it was released at 57.6% ABV with no chill filtration or colouring, and 582 bottles were produced. The sherry maturation adds an old-school depth to Inchgower’s salty, maritime character. Rated highly on Whiskybase at +87.

The 2006 Vintage was matured in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2011. It reflects Kilchoman’s early style: youthful, yet full of character, and marks the distillery’s first 5-year release. Color: Light beech darkening nicely with age. Nose: Peaty aroma, nice soft cooked fruits, Christmas cake. Palate: Cloves, butterscotch, soft citrus, mouth-filling and with a lasting sweetness. Finish: A classic Islay Malt, now showing benefit of ageing; peaty, fresh and clean at the end.
