On the nose, discover inviting aromas of apple tea and apricots. The palate presents a velvety texture with honeyed warmth, toasted almonds, and stone fruits. This is a blended malt whisky released by Hombo Shuzo, which also has been further finished in red wine casks (Hombo Shuzo also operates a winery in Yamanashi prefecture in Japan). Ruby red color, with the wine cask delivering a fruity and spicy palate along with pleasant lingering tannins on the finish. This 2020 limited release edition winning a 2020 Gold medal on Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Competition (HKIWSC).
The "Mars Malus Maltage Cosmo" series has been unveiling a limited edition product each year since 2019. The lineup includes the “Manzanilla Cask Finish” in 2019, the “Wine Cask Finish” in 2020, and the “Manzanilla Cask Finish” again in 2021 and 2022.
COSMO is named after a mountain in the Japan Central Alps, near the Mars Shinshu distillery.

Mar "Yakushima Aging" Blended Malt Japanese Whisky is a special release honoring the 30th anniversary of Yakushima's designation as a World Natural Heritage site. Available in December 2023, this blended malt was created from the malt whiskies 'Komagatake' and 'Tsunuki' both of which are a part of Hombo Shuzo, aged at the Yakushima Aging Cellar. It features vibrant fruity aromas that capture the essence of Yakushima.

This is a special bottling released by the Chichibu Distillery and is a vatting of malt from two distilleries, "Chichibu" and "Komagatake", which has been matured at the Chichibu Distillery in a variety of Bourbon Barrel, American White Oak and Sherry Oak for more than 5 years. In 2015, Venture Whisky (Chichibu) Distillery and Mars Shinshu Distillery began exchanging their new make spirit, which was subsequently matured in their respective locations. 10,200 bottles were released.
Nose: Caramel sweetness, some dusty book shelves and a medley of tropical fruits Palate: Sweet toffee along with tropical fruits including banana and pineapple Finish: Ends with a salty finish and hints of tropical fruits.

"Rindo" is the first release of Mars's Nature of Shinshu range and named after one of the types of flower which grows near the distillery. Distilled in 2012 and launched at The Tokyo Whisky Festival 2015, It is a combination of Ex-Bourbon, Sherry and Japanese Wine Cask at an ABV 52%. It reportedly has some 20 year-old component whisky within the vatting as well. Total of 8,200 bottles were apparently released.

This pure malt whisky has been aged for over a year in casks that previously held the highest grade red wine from the "Hosaka Hinokuni" brand of Mars Shinshu Distillery. The whisky features a calm sherry aroma with soft notes reminiscent of cherries and other red fruits.

Only 1,359 bottles were released. Dried fruits, smooth and gentle, vanilla and nutty with a gentle lingering finish.
