Glenrothes

Glenrothes is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky, which has been a brand that was owned by the reputable Berry Bros & Rudd (the fine wine merchants of London) since 2010 until the brand was sold back to Edrington (the owners of Macallan) in 2017. The whisky has been made at the Glenrothes distillery located in the town of Rothes, in the heart of Speyside region of Scotland. The distillery sits beside the Burn of Rothes, hidden in a glen on the edge of the town.

Founded by James Stuart and Reverend William Sharp, Glenrothes was originally sold as a malt included in the blend for Cutty Shark and The Famous Grouse.
