Satsuma Kiriko Hand Cut Glass from Japan

The Satsuma kiriko (薩摩切子) is a style of cut glass, now a traditional Japanese craft. It was manufactured by the Satsuma clan from the final years of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period (1868–1912). Today, faithful reproductions are produced.
