The limited release Sakurao Single Malt Sauternes Cask Stillman’s Selection is a lightly peated Whisky, which has been first matured in Bourbon barrels and then finished in Bordeaux Sauternes wine casks, with a deep amber hue and a rich, complex profile shaped by its unique maturation process.

This bottle is part of the premium Stillman’s Selection range, reflecting the master distiller’s personal choice of the finest casks. It balances a light peated character with layered notes of fruit and honey, offering a harmonious blend of sweetness and depth.

The Sauternes cask imparts luxurious layers of honeyed sweetness, ripe fruit such as apricot, apple, and pear, alongside rich vanilla and gentle spices. The nose reveals aromas of golden honey, fresh apple, warm cinnamon, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, expect creamy custard, banana, and tropical fruit richness, complemented by a comfortable smokiness and oak aroma.

Distilled in November 2020 and matured for over 4 years in a first-fill Marsala wine cask, this release has been bottled in celebration of SG60 (Singapore’s 60 years of growth and achievement). Only 262 bottles have been released.

The label features artwork by a Japanese artist portraying a Torii gate, symbolizing the transition from the everyday to the sacred, adding meaningful cultural depth to this collectible release.

Togouchi Peated Cask Finish Japanese Blended Whisky is a blend crafted by Sakurao Distillery, combining single malt and single grain whiskies. It is firstly matured at the Sakurao Distillery and then further matured in a unique underground railway tunnel in the heart of Mount Osorakan, Hiroshima, offering ideal conditions for slow and even aging.

According to Togouchi, this whisky is aged in casks previously used for whisky with smoky aromas to create the distinctive flavor of Togouchi Peated Cask Finish. The result is a whisky with a unique smoky character and rich sweetness, as if it were gently smoked.

Sakurao Gin Hamagou 2025 is a Japanese dry gin crafted with 12 botanicals. This 8th edition has a fresh and refreshing fragrance reminiscent of the small, dainty Hamagou flowers that bloom on Miyajima Island, a world heritage site located near SAKURAO DISTILLERY. Botanicals include Hamagou, rosemary, shiranui citrus, lavender, green tea, spearmint, juniper berry from France, angelica root, licorice, coriander seed, vanilla bean, and caraway seed.

SAKURAO GIN is produced by a German-made copper hybrid still
and is distilled using a hybrid method (combination of steeping and vapor methods), which is the best way to extract the flavors of each and every botanicals.

Tasting Note : A gin with a fresh Hamagou aroma, the sweetness of shiranui citrus, and the gorgeous floral notes of lavender, all balanced with the strong gin flavor from French juniper berries.
