Glendullan
The original Speyside distillery was built in 1897 and a second distillery was built in 1972 alongside the original distillery. Both distilleries operated together until 1985, when the original distillery was shuttered. Glendullan (the Second) mainly provides its whisky for blends and is sold as a Single Malt under The Singleton brand (Singleton of Glendullan) - since 2007 exclusively in the US market. It is currently owned by Diageo.
A long fermentation of about 75 hours in a mix of stainless steel and wooden washbacks results in a lightly fruity and grassy distillate.

Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2015, this whisky from the Glendullan distillery was matured for 18 years in 2 bourbon hogsheads and 456 bottles were released at an ABV of 55.6% by Cadenheads the Independent Bottler (related to the Springbank Distillery).
Nose: Minty with lots of toffee. Very floral and grassy. Palate: Creamy. Shortbread and lemon meringue pie with cream. Finish: Initially short and creamy finishing in apple notes.
Glendullan, owned by Diageo is also bottled under the Singleton brand for the US market.
