Ardbeg Auriverdes- A special edition released on Ardbeg Day 2014 – Also a day to celebrate the Feis Ile Festival and FIFA 2014 at Brazil. Auri(Gold) Verdes(Green) refers to the sporting teams of Brazil.

Ardbeg Galileo -A heavily peated Ardbeg distilled in 1999, aged in bourbon cask and Marsala wine cask, bottled in 2012.

Ardbeg Corryverkan

Ardbeg Ardbog - named after the peat bogs of Islay near Ardbeg, and to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2013. Matured at Bourbon cask and Manzanilla Sherry Cask.

Ardbeg 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is one of the peatiest and most complex whiskies globally. It balances intense peat with the natural sweetness of malt. Awarded World Whisky of the Year in 2008, it has a light gold color and aromas of smoky fruit, zesty lemon and lime, and waxy dark chocolate. On the palate, it offers crackling peat, tangy citrus, black pepper, and cinnamon-spiced toffee, alongside briny notes of buttermilk, ripe bananas, and currants. The finish is long and rich, featuring dry espresso, liquorice root, and tarry smoke.

Named after the southern most point of Islay, which is Mull of Oa (the rounded headland that shelters the distillery from the wild Atlantic) this is a vatting of different cask maturations including new charred oak, PX Sherry and first fill bourbon.

This is the general release (hence called Untamed Release) of 2011 Ardbeg Committee Release - Alligator - named such due to the high level of char of the virgin American White Oak casks used for maturation, which makes the inside of the cask surface look like an alligator skin. 

Color: Gold Nose: Smoked root ginger and barbeque sauce with chocolate, cumin and warm oak shavings in the background Palate: Hot and spicy, smoked and charred with a leathery and sooty mouth feel. One of 2012's most hotly-anticipated releases, Ardbeg Galileo is made up from casks distilled in 1999, some of which spent their full term of maturation in casks that previously held Marsala wine, imparting sweet tropical fruit flavours to the mix. Galileo's concept celebrates the well-publicised experiment whereby small quantities of Ardbeg were sent into space at the end of 2011 to see how they mature in zero gravity. About 15,000 bottles were reportedly released at an ABV of 49%.

Released between 2001 and 2004, the 1977 vintage is a rare old bottling from Ardbeg. This particular bottle, we believe was released in 2001. A full bodied perfect balance of sweetness, fruit and intense smoky aromas with hints of toffee and fudge followed by mandarin fruit.
