This limited edition from the Kanosuke Single Malt series highlights the distillery’s signature finesse through a rich marriage of Oloroso and Cream sherry casks. Crafted from whiskies distilled in three pot stills and matured in varied casks — including ex-shochu, sherry, bourbon, and red wine — it embodies the mellow yet complex Kanosuke style.
A touch of new American white oak adds brightness, while the influence of shochu casks lends a gentle Japanese “wa” spice. The result is an elegant balance of dark cherry aroma and fruit pound cake, unfolding into a smooth wave of tropical mangosteen and a serene seaside finish.

Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength 2025 is a limited-edition, higher-proof version of Machir Bay Islay single malt. It is bottled at full cask strength rather than the regular 46% ABV, designed to deliver more intense coastal peat smoke.
Kilchoman Founder Anthony Wills wrote: “One of my favourite whiskies we have released, it has everything I love about Kilchoman spirit, with a little extra punch. There will be a lot of happy Kilchoman fans seeing the Machir Bay Cask Strength back on shelves.”
Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is bold and smoky, with sweet vanilla and caramel from the bourbon barrels, layered with citrus and tropical fruit, and hints of floral and mineral complexity.
Palate: On the palate, it is full-bodied and warming, with creamy malt sweetness balancing maritime peat smoke, fresh and candied citrus, toffee, and subtle spice.

The label design pays tribute to the distillery’s original tower, set against the serene natural beauty that surrounds Tsunuki.
Crafted at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery, nestled in the lush mountains southwest of the Satsuma Peninsula, the whisky benefits from a distinctive basin-like climate with marked temperature variations, as well as pristine spring water sourced from Mt. Kurata—ideal conditions for maturation.

Nagahama Distillery has been operating since 2016. During this time, Nagahama has developed its World Blended series, "Amahagan," while also releasing single cask blends. After accumulating considerable experience, they launched their first Single Malt, "The First Batch," in 2022. The subsequent "The Second Batch," with its peaty style, was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful, demonstrating that Nagahama has finally found its own path.
"The Third Batch" uses Mizunara oak, Islay quarter casks, bourbon casks, and Koval whisky casks. The spirits used are aged for 3-4 years and then bottled at 50% ABV.
Nose: Smoky scent wafts from afar. The first aroma is a fresh malt scent. A deeper sniff reveals notes of raisins, dried apricots, and persimmons, mingled with hints of chocolate cookie, complemented by a moderate smokiness – quite pleasant! Palate: the beer is robust and smooth, with honey sweetness and malt notes intertwined, creating a pleasantly sweet and comforting flavor. Finish: The mid-to-late stages reveal peaty and smoky notes that linger on the palate.

The Sauternes Cask Matured 2024 Edition, the third limited release of this cask type was bottled at the end of May 2024. It’s been fully aged in ex-Sauternes wine casks for over 5 years and comes in at 50% ABV. To get just the right balance between the Sauternes cask influence and that classic Kilchoman character, founder and master blender Anthony Wills went with a good mix of second-fill Sauternes casks. He picked 22% first-fill and 78% second-fill casks from 2017 and 2018. Fun fact: most of the second-fill casks used were finishing casks from the 2018 release, resulting in a tasty blend of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger, and floral peat smoke.
Nose: Creamy, buttery notes with ripe fruits, a hint of salty sea air and subtle peat smoke. Palate: Butterscotch and floral notes combine with tropical and candied fruits with integrated peat smoke flowing throughout. The Yamazakura Fine Blended Whisky is made by Sasanokawa Shuzo Co, a small distillery in Japan. Orange blossoms on the nose, followed by oak, caramel, and fresh orchard fruit on the palate. Easy on the nose and palate, this is a very gentle whisky with an upfront sweetness that stays on the palate followed by dark chocolate in the finish.
Sasanokawa Shuz's own distillation has also gone through turbulent times in sync with the Japanese whisky market's boom and bust cycles with bulk spirit imports replacing their own production through these times.

Pōkeno distillery nestled in a warm, misty, humid valley protected by the volcanic hills which from which they source their pure natural spring water and sourced the finest barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's richly fertile South Island.
Triple Distillation helps to concentrate not only the alcohol in the whisky, but also helps create lighter, more fruity flavours. Having only two stills, we performed the final two distillations in our 3600 litre spirit still, separating the hearts from the heads and tails each time. This bottling has been matured in only the finest first fill bourbon barrels.
Nose: Rich honey and vanilla with hints of citrus and toffee. Palate: A delightful mix of rich vanilla bean and butterscotch, complemented by sweet citrus notes and a hint of pepper clove. Finish: A long and rich finish, leaving a memorable impression. (Tasting Note from Distillery)

This scotch whisky named after an inlet on Islay’s rugged Atlantic coast, Sanaig is a vatting of both sherry and bourbon casks. The high proportion of Oloroso sherry influence adding a balance of dried fruits and spices to classic Kilchoman citrus sweetness and peat smoke character.
Predominantly Sherry Cask matured, Sanaig was awarded the BEST Single Malt Scotch Whisky -NAS at IWSC 2016 and 2022. It snagged a Gold metal Award on the 2024 and 2022 International Spirits Challenge and Spirits Business Awards 2024 Master. .
Nose: Fragrant heather, raisins, pear and orange peel with waves of stoned fruits, mixed spices and rich peat smoke. Palate: Over ripe plums, red cherries and hints of citrus give way to rich barbeque peat smoke, toffee, oak and dark chocolate. Nagahama Distillery’s Fragrant Collaboration series features the Coffee Cask expression, created in partnership with Bankoku Coffee, a long-established roaster from Yamagata. This bottling uses Nagahama’s non-peated malt as the base, with secondary maturation in bourbon casks that previously held aromatic coffee beans. It is bottled at cask strength, with only 334 bottles released. The first nose is said to evoke a creamy café latte.
Tasting Note: Aroma: Opens with notes of espresso and dark chocolate, followed by a fragrant wave of vanilla and caramel. Palate: Dominated by rich coffee flavors, closely followed by creamy sweetness, toffee, and a hint of maple syrup.
