Royal Brackla
Royal Brackla distillery is situated in Highland, Scotland. It was founded in 1817 by Captain William Fraser. In 1835, their whisky gained a Royal Warrant and the rights to call it “Royal Brackla” with the seal approval from King William IV.
Royal Brackla has a fresh fruitiness scent and acidity, aged in ex-Sherry casks, the maturation style was chosen by Dewar’s for its first single malt releases.

Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023. Cask No. 11064. Limited to 217 bottles worldwide. Aroma: Sponge Cask, vanilla and buttery, Citrus Peels, caramel and toffee. Taste: Candied sweetness, Some nuttiness followed by salted caramel and spices. Finish: Long with warm spices like cloves and cinnamon.
We would highly recommend to add water to see how this whisky evolves beautifully with enhanced citrus and sweet mandarin notes combined with some baked tarts balanced with some minerality and saltiness. A very enjoyable whisky indeed.
