This Speyside Single Malt Whisky from the Aberlour distillery is "double matured" i.e. a vatting of whiskies matured for 12 years in American oak and Spanish Sherry Oak. Soft and rounded with apples on the nose, the taste is sweet sherry, toffee and spice like cinnamon and ginger. A lingering finish with sweet and warm spice.

A more rounded Single Malt it is reportedly matured in a variety of casks with a larger proportion of toasted American Oak casks giving it a sweet flavour profile packed with fresh citrus and sweet smoke making it a very approachable Whisky, yet with the traditional character of the distillery.
