A rare and old 21 year old bottling of Springbank, which was likely bottled in the early to mid 2000s at 46% ABV without any colouring and no chill filteration. Only 2400 bottles were apparently released and most of these vintage bottlings are very highly rated with a scored of usually 90+ on Whiskybase.
The front label has a small nick on the right hand upper side. Please examine the images closely before purchase. Sold in "As Is" condition.

The Strathmill Distillery was originally founded as a corn mill in 1823 and in 1891 was finally converted into a Whisky distillery. This bottling was a Special Limited Release in 2014 with 2700 bottles released globally. A rare release from the distillery itself as most of the whisky in the past has been released by Independent Bottlers. Matured for 25 years in refill American Oak casks. Colour: gold Nose: cream, citrus fruits with malt and brown sugar, some cloves Palate: Sweet, citrus fruits, some herbs, honey and spices such as cinnamon, cloves. Finish: Stays for a while with subtle notes of mint.

The distillery started in 1994 was crowned the world’s best Single Malt, in 2014 as the first outside of Scotland or Japan to win “World’s Best Single Malt,” followed by “World’s Best Single Cask” triumphs in 2018 and 2019.
This exclusive bottling commemorates both Mizunara's 10th Anniversary and a two-decade friendship between Mr. Barry Eric Dick and Mizunara's founder (at US Investment bank Merrill Lynch), rooted in their shared appreciation for exceptional whisky. Barry's passion for Thor comics, sparked at the age of 10, and his later appreciation for fine whisky converge in this exceptional single cask bottling, titled very aptly "Whisky & Friends: The Best Pairing of All."
