Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition is a 9 year old whisky from Islay barley harvests of 2014 and 2015 (Concerto and Publican varieties), vatted from 54 ex-bourbon barrels Bottled at 50% ABV with added layers of caramel, vanilla, and butterscotch that balance beautifully with the natural citrus sweetness and Kilchoman's peat smoke.

Tasting Note: Nose: Vanilla, tropical fruits, fresh hay and toasted oak with grassy notes and salted butter. Palate: Milk chocolate, salted caramel and fresh peat smoke with candied citrus fruits, lemon, ripe pear, and hints of white pepper. Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength 2025 is a limited-edition, higher-proof version of Machir Bay Islay single malt. It is bottled at full cask strength rather than the regular 46% ABV, designed to deliver more intense coastal peat smoke. 

Kilchoman Founder Anthony Wills wrote: “One of my favourite whiskies we have released, it has everything I love about Kilchoman spirit, with a little extra punch. There will be a lot of happy Kilchoman fans seeing the Machir Bay Cask Strength back on shelves.” 

Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is bold and smoky, with sweet vanilla and caramel from the bourbon barrels, layered with citrus and tropical fruit, and hints of floral and mineral complexity.
Palate: On the palate, it is full-bodied and warming, with creamy malt sweetness balancing maritime peat smoke, fresh and candied citrus, toffee, and subtle spice.
Finish: This finish is long and lingering, with smoke gradually giving way to vanilla, toasted coconut, and a soft saline note. (From the Distillery)

This limited release has been matured for 13 years in a combination of bourbon barrels, octaves and calvados casks. It exudes an abundance of juicy fresh fruits, intense sweetness and waves of Islay maritime peat smoke.

According to the founder of Kilchoman, Anthony Wills “..... I’m excited to announce the release of another age statement Kilchoman: the 13-year-old.

The ex-Bourbon casks make up a large part of the vatting, lending that unmistakable Kilchoman character, while the addition of Calvados casks, which may surprise a few people, infuses vibrant green apple and fresh fruit notes into the mix."

Tasting Note: Nose: Fragrant and delicate with bursting notes of fresh pineapple, hibiscus and lemon sherbets. Palate: Herbaceous with undertones of dried apple granola, caramelised puffed wheat and buttered popcorn. Finish: Light and graceful with reminiscence of orchard fruits and zesty freshness. Kilchoman 11 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured 100% Islay single malt Scotch whisky draws from barley harvests of 2011, 2012, and 2013, matured for at least 11 years in 16 ex-Oloroso sherry butts. Layers of dried fruits and rich spices infuse the whisky, balancing beautifully with Kilchoman’s signature citrus sweetness and peat smoke. This release showcases the distillery’s fully Islay-grown, malted, and bottled philosophy with sherry-driven depth.

Kilchoman 15 Year Old Ex-Sherry from the 20th Anniversary Cask Series showcases the distillery’s sherry-matured mastery. This limited edition distilled in 2008 or 2009 and matured in five first-fill ex-sherry casks (Casks Nos. 644 & 670/2008, 16,444 & 513/2009). A total of 3,153 bottles were released worldwide.

Tasting Note: Nose: Soft with a peppery spice, rich sherry sweetness, and a hint of salty, briny notes. Palate: Rounded and rich in character, with a peppery kick, sherry soaked dark fruits, and a gentle smokiness bringing a savoury, briny character. Finish: Viscous and warming, with rich fruits, salty dark chocolate, and a lasting balance of sweetness and smoke. (From the Distillery)

Kilchoman 14 Year Old Ex-Sherry “20th Anniversary Cask Series” is a limited-edition, one of two 14-year expressions celebrating 20 years of Kilchoman distillery operations. It was distilled in 2011 and fully matured for 14 years in five first-fill ex-sherry butts (cask nos. 145, 146, 148, 149, and 150), imparting intense notes of dates, spices, and chocolate alongside Kilchoman’s signature coastal, peaty style. A total of 3,145 bottles were released worldwide, with approximately 20 ppm phenols.

Tasting Note: Nose: Fresh and spicy with bold BBQ smoke, black pepper, and rich dried fruits. Palate: Intense, with warming spices and dried dates on the palate. A touch dark chocolate and herbal liquorice balancing the spice. Finish: Long and full of flavour, with lingering sweet spices, rich BBQ meats and subtle integrated peat smoke. (From the Distillery)

Kilchoman 6 Year Old New Oak Finished Single Cask 18/233 is an exclusive Small Markets bottling with a heavily peated style (50PPM). Matured over 5 years in a fresh STR red wine hogshead, it was finished for more than a year in a Carpathian oak cask. Total of 291 bottles released. 

Tasting Note: Nose: Ripe summer fruits, peach, lemon zest with a toffee-like sweetness. Palate: Butterscotch, hints of fresh oak, black pepper and a touch of brine. Finish: Delicate citrus fruits and gentle layers of coastal peat smoke. (From the Distillery)

Blackadder Benrinnes 14 Year Old single cask single malt Scotch whisky from the Benrinnes distillery, independently bottled by Blackadder to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in January 2025 after 14 years maturation in a first-fill Amontillado hogshead (cask #303522), it highlights Benrinnes’ robust, meaty style enriched by nutty, oxidative sherry notes.

As part of Blackadder’s Raw Cask series, it is presented at natural cask strength of 55.7% ABV—unchill-filtered, uncolored, with natural cask sediments for an oily, intensely authentic profile. Total of 238 bottles released.

This 14 Year Old single cask single malt Scotch whisky from Linkwood Distillery was independently bottled by Blackadder to mark its 30th anniversary. Distilled on 13 September 2010 and bottled in May 2025 after 14 years of maturation, including a first-fill Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask finish (cask #168), it combines Linkwood’s floral and fruity character with added sherry richness. Only 254 bottles were released.  

Part of Blackadder’s Raw Cask series, it is bottled at cask strength without chill filtration or colouring, retaining natural cask sediments for an oily, authentic texture.

Blair Athol 12 Year Old is a single cask single malt whisky from the Blair Athol Distillery, independently bottled by Blackadder. Distilled on 15 February 2013 and bottled in June 2025 after maturing for 12 years in a refill barrique (cask no. 302229), this special release celebrates Blackadder’s 30th anniversary with only 261 bottles available.  

Bottled at cask strength of 60.5% ABV as part of the Raw Cask series, it remains no chill-filtered, non-coloured, and contains natural cask sediments for an oily texture. The refill barrique highlights Blair Athol’s signature nutty and fruity character while imparting a bold wood influence.

The Raw Cask series delivers an “old-school” whisky that emphasizes natural oils and intense wood influence over refinement. It features no chill filtration, no added coloring, and visible cask sediments.

Independently bottled by Blackadder as part of its signature Raw Cask series, this whisky was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, with a total release of 694 bottles.

Embodying the spirit of Blackadder’s Raw Cask series, this release remains unfiltered to preserve the natural cask sediments for maximum authenticity. Bottled at a powerful cask strength of 63.6% ABV, it is non-chill-filtered, uncoloured, and retains natural cask particles for a richly oily texture.
