This is the general release (hence called Untamed Release) of 2011 Ardbeg Committee Release - Alligator - named such due to the high level of char of the virgin American White Oak casks used for maturation, which makes the inside of the cask surface look like an alligator skin. 

Color: Gold Nose: Smoked root ginger and barbeque sauce with chocolate, cumin and warm oak shavings in the background Palate: Hot and spicy, smoked and charred with a leathery and sooty mouth feel. Released in August 2012, this whisky has been matured in traditional oak whisky casks and then ‘finished’ in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. To create the ideal finish Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE filled American oak casks with his own blend of select West Indian rums and when he judged the casks to be ready, the rum was replaced with the aged spirit and the wood was put to work adding the final touches. The result is the traditional smooth, honeyed character of The Balvenie married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, with a warm, lingering finish.  Nose: Rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fresh fruit notes Palate: Rounded with vanilla and sweet oak notes, with a fruity character that develops with time Finish: Soft and lingering

The 100% Islay 11th Edition was distilled from 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 barley (Optic & Publican) harvests before being matured in 26 bourbon barrels and 7 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 9 years. This unique Single Farm Single Malt is the only whisky in Scotland to be produced entirely on one farm, from barley to bottle. The barley was then malted onsite and peated using local Islay peat before being distilled, matured and eventually bottled all within the farm distillery’s premises. Limited to 12,000 bottles.

Awarded 95 Points at IWSC 2022 (Gold Medal Winner).

This was launched in 2010 as a travel retail exclusive.

This is the 12th Edition of the 100% Islay release and distilled from 2011 - 2013 barley harvests (from the fields next to the distillery) and then matured in Bourbon Barrels and Oloroso Sherry butts for at least 8 years. This is a vatting of 29 Bourbon Barrels & 6 Oloroso Sherry Butts with 12,500 bottles being released. Nose: Elegant, sweet peat smoke, citrus and honey, vanilla and salted caramel. Palate: Green fruits, apple, pear. Light spice, raisin and toffee. Finish: Peat smoke returns and remains on the palate, oily, creamy balanced with toffee and caramelised sugar. 

The 100% Islay release is usually peated at 20 ppm with the entire production "from Barley to Bottle" taking place at the distillery on Islay itself (which is quite unique).

Laphroaig Cairdeas Feis Ile 2017 is matured in a Quarter Cask and bottled at Cask Strength. A Quarter Cask as the name implies is a smaller (quarter of the original Barrel) cask which results in increased contact bewteen whisky and wood and an active maturation and intense flavours. Nose:  A characteristic Laphroaig with minerals, peat smoke and oak spices balanced with subtle fruits Palate: Peat smoke with spices again with peppery notes and salty notes intertwines with malty sweetness Finish: a strong finish with hints of salty notes, green fruits and lingering sweetness.

A limited release of 2021 and part of the Tsukuriwake selection, this Hakushu bottling has been matured in Spanish Oak. Only 300 bottles were made available in Japan followed by an undisclosed number for worldwide markets. Nose: Cacao, Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate. Palate: Soft sweetness interlaced with a hint of drak chocolate bitterness. Finish: smooth and again some dark chocolate notes.
