Layers of dried fruits and rich spices infuse the whisky, balancing beautifully with Kilchoman’s signature citrus sweetness and peat smoke. This release showcases the distillery’s fully Islay-grown, malted, and bottled philosophy with sherry-driven depth.

Kilchoman Port Cask Matured 2024 Edition is the third edition of the Port Cask Matured series. This limited release fully matured in refill Ruby Port hogsheads, which draws from casks of the two previous editions—nearly 10 year old stocks from 2014  and 6 year old stocks from 2018.

Akkeshi Single Malt Japanese Whisky “Risshu” (立秋), meaning “the beginning of autumn,” marks the 20th edition in the Nijushisekki (Twenty-Four Solar Terms) series from Hokkaido’s Akkeshi Distillery.

"A pale moon quietly sees off the passing summer, reflected on the surface of Lake Akkeshi, and the Perseid meteor shower dances down on the night. Akkeshi malt, aged for many years, exudes a citrus aroma with a soft peaty flavor. The key malt is undiluted malt from Mizunara oak barrels produced in Hokkaido. Akkeshi Single Malt Japanese Whisky “Shousho” (小暑), meaning “minor heat,” is the 16th edition in the Nijushisekki (Twenty-Four Solar Terms) series from Hokkaido’s Akkeshi Distillery.  A limited release primarily draws primarily from Hokkaido-grown malted barley, with masterful maturation in local Mizunara oak casks complemented by ex-bourbon and sherry influences.

Nagahama Distillery’s Fragrant Collaboration series features the Coffee Cask expression, created with Bankoku Coffee, a long-established roaster from Yamagata. The coffee character comes from second maturation in bourbon casks that previously held premium coffee beans, resulting in a rich, intense aroma reminiscent of dark-roasted coffee beans. It is bottled at cask strength, with only 376 bottles released.

Tasting note: Aroma: Dominated by a powerful scent of roasted coffee, followed closely by Nagahama’s delicate peat smoke with hints of caramel and bonfire-like char. Palate: Beyond the prominent coffee flavor, earthy peat notes reminiscent of soil and ash emerge. Smooth, with coffee, malt sweetness, and peat smoke forming a harmonious balance. Finish: Long with the lingering essence of smoke and roasted coffee.

Nagahama Distillery’s Fragrant Collaboration series features the Coffee Cask expression, created in partnership with Bankoku Coffee, a long-established roaster from Yamagata. This bottling uses Nagahama’s non-peated malt as the base, with secondary maturation in bourbon casks that previously held aromatic coffee beans. It is bottled at cask strength, with only 334 bottles released. The first nose is said to evoke a creamy café latte.

Tasting Note: Aroma: Opens with notes of espresso and dark chocolate, followed by a fragrant wave of vanilla and caramel. Palate: Dominated by rich coffee flavors, closely followed by creamy sweetness, toffee, and a hint of maple syrup. Finish: Warm and lingering, with a touch of cacao and the classic sweetness of bourbon casks.

Cask:  Refill Oloroso Sherry Cask 

Size: 700 ml

A limited edition release from single cask #94 whisky from Springbank Distillery. It was distilled in 1994 and matured for 30 years in a refill Oloroso sherry cask before bottling in 2025. Only 118 bottles were released.

The long aging created a balanced profile with floral notes, tropical fruits, and hints of lavender. These flavors blend with Springbank’s classic style, showing mineral and slightly salty notes. The cask also adds light smoke and touches of dark berries.

The bottle features a golden and silver engraving of an ancient dragon in a mosaic design. It is presented in an elegant box.
