Only 262 bottles have been released.
The label features artwork by a Japanese artist portraying a Torii gate, symbolizing the transition from the everyday to the sacred, adding meaningful cultural depth to this collectible release.
It features a rich amber hue, enticing aromas of raisins and strawberries, flavours of dates and oranges, subtle notes of caramel. and a lingering finish with hints of berries and citrus. (Tasting Notes from Distillery)

Sakurao Gin Hamagou 2025 is a Japanese dry gin crafted with 12 botanicals. This 8th edition has a fresh and refreshing fragrance reminiscent of the small, dainty Hamagou flowers that bloom on Miyajima Island, a world heritage site located near SAKURAO DISTILLERY. Botanicals include Hamagou, rosemary, shiranui citrus, lavender, green tea, spearmint, juniper berry from France, angelica root, licorice, coriander seed, vanilla bean, and caraway seed.
SAKURAO GIN is produced by a German-made copper hybrid still
and is distilled using a hybrid method (combination of steeping and vapor methods), which is the best way to extract the flavors of each and every botanicals.
Tasting Note : A gin with a fresh Hamagou aroma, the sweetness of shiranui citrus, and the gorgeous floral notes of lavender, all balanced with the strong gin flavor from French juniper berries.

The Sauternes cask imparts luxurious layers of honeyed sweetness, ripe fruit such as apricot, apple, and pear, alongside rich vanilla and gentle spices. This shochu is made from 100% Koganesengan sweet potatoes sourced from Minamisatsuma. Crafted by Master Distiller Kurose, it revives the traditional use of black koji mold, which was popular in shochu production until the mid-Shōwa era. Glansa is an adjective meaning shining storm-laden skies in Old Norse - a reference to the temperamental weather on the island. The original signature smooth fruity single malt aged in American Oak has been further rested in peated casks resulting in rich notes of warm heather honey, soft fruits giving way to a subtle smoky finish.
