To explore the impact of different casks on whisky flavor profiles, Nagahama acquired a batch of casks previously used by Koval for maturing whiskies and named them "Koval Casks."  Amahagan World Malt Edition KOVAL aged in Koval casks for 2 years and 3 months on his original World Malt Whisky Edition 1, significantly enriching its flavor and complexity.
