A limited release for 2022, the Kilchoman Casado (Portuguese for marriage) is matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were married together for 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portuguese red wine vats. 

Nose: Smoke comes first and balanced with ripe stone fruits: peach, plum and cherry. Palate: Pepper and spice at first taste. Dry, salty peat smoke with apricot and lemon. Finish: Long finish with spices, the cooked fruit notes bring a sweet-jam balanced with Kilchoman smoke.

This bottling is the sixth one of the series and comes in a black box adorned with a metal coin featuring the portrait of George S Grant. Distilled in 1976 (the birth year of George S Grant) and bottled on 19th May 2016. 

This bottle has been signed by George Grant, the sixth generation of the Grant Family who has been at the helm of Glenfarclas since 2000. 

Only 1500 bottles were released. Rated 92+ on Whisky base (by over 25 reviewers).

This bottling is the first one of the series and comes in a black box adorned with a silver coin featuring the portrait of John Grant (1805-1889), who purchased the distillery on 8th June 1865. Distilled on the 23rd September 1966 and bottled on 18th December 2013 from Fino Cask #'s 4194, 4195, and 4197. An old presentation (released around 2013) bottle of "The Balvenie 30 Year Old", crafted by malt master David Stewart by vatting Whisky matured in traditional and European oak casks. In our opinion this is indeed a masterpiece and showcases the skills of the malt master in creating a beautifully balanced and impressive aged whisky bottled at a higher ABV of 47.3%. Rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelized pear.

This series has been a Gold Medal winner at the 2004 IWSC and the 2013 release won a Gold Outstanding at the IWSC and Best Speyside Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2013.

Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following. This is the official first annual release in 2001 by Diageo (who happen to own the remaining stock) with 6000 bottles being released.

A vatting of Laphroaig aged in four different casks, ex-Bourbon barrels, Quarter Casks, European Oak hogsheads and Virgin American Oak (unusual for the Scotch Industry). This complex of layering gives you a sweet aromas of vanilla with Laphroaig flavors of medicinal peat smoke and seaweed.

Awarded Gold Medal on 2021 IWSC and 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Color: Bright gold. Imbued from four varieties of oak. Nose: Bold peat smoke with notes of stewed fruit and warm, toasted vanilla. Blackadder Glen Moray 31 Year Old 1990/2021, Cask #4563, Single Malt Scotch Whisky, was independently bottled by Blackadder as Raw Cask Statement Edition No. 40. Distilled in May 1990 and bottled in May 2021 after 31 years of maturation in a single cask, it was released at cask strength without chill filtration or without addition of any colouring. The Raw Cask series also tends to have natural cask sediment since the whisky is not heavily filtered.

Blackadder Inchgower 20 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was independently bottled by Blackadder as Raw Cask Statement Edition No. 12 to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Distilled in July 1995 and bottled in September 2015 after 20 years in a single sherry butt, it was released at 57.6% ABV (cask strength) without chill filtration or without addition of any colouring. The Raw Cask series also tends to have natural cask sediment since the whisky is not heavily filtered. 582 bottles were produced. Bottle number for reference only.

The sherry maturation adds an old-school depth to Inchgower’s salty, maritime character. Rated highly on Whiskybase at +87.
