Mortlach's unique and precise 2.81 times distillation technique which is 0.81 more than the usual Scotch standard has also given it the reputation as the "Beast of Dufftown". Nose: Layers of orange zest, heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins, with notes of mocha lingering in the background. A limited release for 2022, the Kilchoman Casado (Portuguese for marriage) is matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were married together for 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portuguese red wine vats.
Nose: Smoke comes first and balanced with ripe stone fruits: peach, plum and cherry. Palate: Pepper and spice at first taste. Dry, salty peat smoke with apricot and lemon. Finish: Long finish with spices, the cooked fruit notes bring a sweet-jam balanced with Kilchoman smoke.

An old presentation (released around 2013) bottle of "The Balvenie 30 Year Old", crafted by malt master David Stewart by vatting Whisky matured in traditional and European oak casks. In our opinion this is indeed a masterpiece and showcases the skills of the malt master in creating a beautifully balanced and impressive aged whisky bottled at a higher ABV of 47.3%. Rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelized pear.
This series has been a Gold Medal winner at the 2004 IWSC and the 2013 release won a Gold Outstanding at the IWSC and Best Speyside Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2013.

Distilled in July 1995 and bottled in September 2015 after 20 years in a single sherry butt, it was released at 57.6% ABV (cask strength) without chill filtration or without addition of any colouring. The Raw Cask series also tends to have natural cask sediment since the whisky is not heavily filtered. 582 bottles were produced. Bottle number for reference only.
The sherry maturation adds an old-school depth to Inchgower’s salty, maritime character. Rated highly on Whiskybase at +87.

This is a Private 1976 Vintage Cask #16392 bottling for La Grande Epicerie, Paris (Founded in 1923 within the Bon Marché Rive Gauche, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is now a gastronomical landmark in Paris. It is owned by the LVMH group).
The Box also includes the original paper certificate of the bottling which describes the Color: Bronze Nose: A full and complex aroma of rich fruit cake, almonds, walnuts and spiced oak in vanilla sweetness and hints of leather and ground coffee Taste: Initially rich and spicy with sweet sherbety flavours followed by subtle nutty oak and luxurious mouth coating tannins and a silky smooth texture.
Only 243 bottles were released. Rated 91+ over 14 Ratings on Whisky Base.
The Whisky level, box , inners etc. are in fairly good condition, while the front main label is stained. Bottle number for reference only. Sold in "As Is Condition"
