A fine and premium deluxe blend put together by International Distillers and Vintners Ltd for Dunhill. While the Dunhill name was originally associated with high quality tobacco products and pipes, it had ventured into clothing, fashion and luxury goods in the 1980s. In 1982 it decided to add a premium blend to its portfolio and since it first appeared, this old bottling is reported to include a blend of 8 years (the youngest grain) to over 20 years (the oldest malt). This particular bottling is a limited release edition in a crystal decanter.
Please note that given the vintage of the bottling, the box is not in perfect condition with wear and tear and some stains on the box. Sold in "As Is" condition.

Matured in refill American oak hogsheads & ex-bourbon barrels, this Pittyvaich bottling was part of Diageo's Special Releases in 2015. Lots of nutty cereal and almond notes, with mango and lemon tart. Very moreish. Established in 1975 and closed in 1993, this Speyside distillery with a short lived history is rarely seen as a Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Very interestingly this bottling is older than the distillery's life itself Nose: Fragrant, malty cereals with a syrupy and creamy note. Palate: Floral with malt, a heavy and rich thick palate with some natural waxiness at the same time Finish: Subtle oak overlayed with white and dark chocolate tones.

Aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, The Hielan' essentially refers to the The Highland Region. Whilst most of the older GlenDronach range of bottlings are quite heavily sherried, rich and sweet, this youngster stands out amongst the rest of the distillery’s core range. Bold with notes of nuts, butterscotch, spice along with hints of raisin and citrus. If you like the malty flavours with the boldness of this youngster, this whisky is for you.
