Discontinued along with other aged statement whiskies from Nikka, Yoichi 10 is the youngest of the Yoichi range that was available earlier.  Using peated malts in direct fired stills, this has been bottled at a higher than usual ABV of 45%. It received a score of 93 points in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2013 edition. Nose: Peaty smoke, sweet malt, and subtle fruit, with hints of brine. Palate: Full-bodied with smoke and spice. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering smoke and sweetness.

"Rindo" is the first release of Mars's Nature of Shinshu range and refers to one of the types of flower which grows near the distillery. Distilled in 2012 and launched at The Tokyo Whisky Festival 2015, It is a combination of Ex-Bourbon, Sherry and Japanese Wine Cask at an  ABV 52%. It reportedly has some 20 year-old component whisky within the vatting as well.

Fresh citrus and stewed fruits. Very crisp, fresh and enjoyable and a great entry to the aged whiskies from this distillery located in Sendai in Northern Japan. Sadly discontinued and a rarity. This bottling (estimated from around 2000s) label spells "Miyagikyou" on its label and is an earlier version of the 10 Year Old bottling with "Miyagikyo" on its label.
