'Kadhambam' means "combination" or "mixture" in the Tamil language (one of the many Indian languages and spoken in the state of Tamil Nadu, Southern India). Amrut Kadhambam was matured in three different cask types - Rum, Sherry, and Brandy, which delivers a combination of the aroma and notes from these three barrels. Nose: Rich and floral, honeyed, nutty, new oak, vanilla, tropical fruity aromas Palate: Candied fruits, subtle oak with a light dusting of peat and integrated spice Finish: Warm and complex with a dry and long finish (Tasting Notes from the distillery). Aged in an Old Sherry Butt #105036 for 12 years, this is a rare single cask and one of the oldest aged releases in recent times from this small distillery in Japan (White Oak Distillery). 480 bottles were released in late 2020.  This is a rich, sherry cask matured whisky with dry figs, raisins and prunes, with a hint of spices and chocolate.

Released to celebrate Amrut Distillery Chairman, Mr. Neel Jagdale's 60th birthday, only 1350 bottles were released in 2017 (this is the second release). This was the oldest age statement at the time of its release and is part of the Greedy Angel's Series of bottlings (with later releases including a10 year and a 12 year old). Distilled using a mix of unpeated Indian barley and peated Scottish barley, this is a special bottling indeed. Tropical fruits with hints of oak combined with sweet malt and vanilla.

Amontillado is a dry sherry wine, darker than Fino and lighter than Oloroso and matures under a cap of flor and then exposed to the air for further oxidation. Toasted almonds and hazelnut are the classic aromas in Amontillado seasoned casks. Color: Rich auburn Nose: Very rich and fruity sweetness with notes of walnuts, almonds, some toffee and a touch of oak. Palate Soft sherry with a hint of caramel and a gentle finish of peppered nuts.

Originally launched in 2016 as a regular release within the Kavalan range, the Sherry Oak release uses the same Oloroso sherry casks used to mature the Solist Sherry expressions except that this has been bottled at 46% strength. Essentially a 46% version of the Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry release to be enjoyed straight up/neat. Dried fruits, nuts and raisins are the mainstay of this release.
