Each year, the Distillery Manager at Laphroaig (John Campbell in this case) handcrafts a limited edition for the "Friends of Laphroaig" to celebrate friendship ("Cairdeas" in Gaelic). Released at Fèis Ìle 2015 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary, 100% floor malted barley (from the distillery's own small malting floor) was used with the two smaller and older stills. Reportedly matured in ex-bourbon casks for about 11-12 years, this bottling captures Master Distiller John Campbell's vision of how Laphroaig was originally produced.

Laphroaig Cairdeas Feis Ile 2017 is matured in a Quarter Cask and bottled at Cask Strength. A Quarter Cask as the name implies is a smaller (quarter of the original Barrel) cask which results in increased contact bewteen whisky and wood and an active maturation and intense flavours. Nose:  A characteristic Laphroaig with minerals, peat smoke and oak spices balanced with subtle fruits Palate: Peat smoke with spices again with peppery notes and salty notes intertwines with malty sweetness Finish: a strong finish with hints of salty notes, green fruits and lingering sweetness.

This Laphroaig SELECT release celebrates the 200 Years Anniversary of the Laphroaig Distillery.

Laphroaig Select is aged in a combination of First Fill Ex-Bourbon Quarter Casks, Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogsheads and Triple Wood (European Oak Casks) with the heart of the spirit being drawn from Whisky which has undergone a final maturation of about 6 months in New American Oak (Virgin) Casks placed in the highest parts of the warehouse to maximise the impact of the Scottish summer. In general it is quite unusual for Scotch Whisky maturation in New Oak Casks.

Awarded Gold Medal in 2020 & 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. 

Color: Sparkling good appearance with layered tones. Nose: Forward peat smoke followed quickly by ripe red fruits. Palate: Sweet at first, followed by peat smoke and dashes of ash and seaweed. Finish: Long finish with lingering floral notes. This Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon is following the tradition of Old Fitzgerald to use more wheat (instead of rye) as the secondary grain in the mashbill yielding a softer and rounder character. The Linkwood 12 Year Old Flora & Fauna is bottled by Diageo as part of its iconic Flora & Fauna series at 43% ABV. Distilled at Linkwood, it offers a floral, fruity profile with rich vanilla, almond, and light cigar-box notes, finishing with a dry, gently spicy hint of anise.

The Flora & Fauna series was originally introduced in 1991 by United Distillers, now Diageo. It launched with whiskies from 22 distilleries, and four more were added in 2001.

This Speyside single malt from Linkwood distillery was specially bottled by Gordon & MacPhail to commemorate the Royal Marriage of H.R.H Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson on 23rd July 1986. A marriage of whiskies distilled in the years of 1959 and 1960 representing the birth year of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, this was bottled in 1986.

This is one of Royal Marriage Series (Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson) 6 special bottlings. Please note the condition of the bottle, fill level and the box. Additional images available on request. Sold in "as is" condition.

A rare and aged Speyside Whisky distilled in April 1959 and matured in a first fill sherry hogshead which shows in the color of the whisky! Bottled in March 2009, only 176 bottles were released. The Private Collection bottling series from Gordon & MacPhail usually showcase a unique selection selected by the family members of G&M. They are usually small batch, single cask whiskies which are rare and aged and of exceptional quality. These series of bottlings were first launched in the late 1990s.

The Sestante import company, established around the 1970s by Ernesto Mainardi (who previously worked for Pinerolo Import well known for its Macallan imports into Italy), usually bottled at ABVs of 40-46% bottlings and cask strength releases from the same casks. Along with Silver Seal (another brand established by him), Mainardi's bottlings are incredibly sought after.
