A limited release of 2021 and part of the Tsukuriwake selection, this Hakushu bottling has been matured in Spanish Oak. Only 300 bottles were made available in Japan followed by an undisclosed number for worldwide markets. Nose: Cacao, Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate. Palate: Soft sweetness interlaced with a hint of drak chocolate bitterness. Finish: smooth and again some dark chocolate notes.
The Hakushu Spanish Oak were released in 2021. Hakushu Distillery's "Tsukuriwake" Selection.

Most of the malt in this bottling reportedly came from the Yamazaki Distillery combined with grain whisky. An extremely well balanced blend bringing forth cooked fruits, plums, raisins, toffee with a subtle hint of oak and tobacco. Bottled in a Kagami Crystal decanter.
