This limited release has been matured for 13 years in a combination of bourbon barrels, octaves and calvados casks. It exudes an abundance of juicy fresh fruits, intense sweetness and waves of Islay maritime peat smoke.

According to the founder of Kilchoman, Anthony Wills “..... I’m excited to announce the release of another age statement Kilchoman: the 13-year-old.

The ex-Bourbon casks make up a large part of the vatting, lending that unmistakable Kilchoman character, while the addition of Calvados casks, which may surprise a few people, infuses vibrant green apple and fresh fruit notes into the mix."

Tasting Note: Nose: Fragrant and delicate with bursting notes of fresh pineapple, hibiscus and lemon sherbets. Palate: Herbaceous with undertones of dried apple granola, caramelised puffed wheat and buttered popcorn. Finish: Light and graceful with reminiscence of orchard fruits and zesty freshness. Yamazakura Single Malt Japanese Whisky Asaka 2024 Edition launched in May 2024, is a non-peated Asaka whisky aged in bourbon barrels which is the characteristic Asaka style. It has a refreshing and floral aroma paired with a clean sweetness, embodying the unique flavor profile of Asaka Distillery.

Nose: Notes of pongashi, honeyed lemon, and citrus Palate: Flavors of dried plum, lime, plum, and cider. Finish: An aftertaste reminiscent of sake, with lingering sweetness and a very subtle hint of smoke as the acidity fades.

The 2023 Edition of this series snagged a silver medal award in the 2024 Tokyo Whisky and Spirits Competition.

This bottle snagged a silver medal award in the 2024 Tokyo Whisky and Spirits Competition. In 2022, the distillery won the "World's Best Blended Malt" at 2022 World Whisky Award and this is their Single Malt release for 2023.

First distilled in Campbeltown 1973, Longrow is the double distilled Islay style, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery.  This is the core expression of Longrow. Nose: Salt and seaweed, smoky, apricot and fine peated. Palate: Subtle sweetness and light, clear smoky and peaty. Finish: Medium long, some salty somky and warm.

Matured for 16 years entirely only in ex-sherry casks, this 16 year bottling is called the "Distiller's Dram". Mortlach's unique and precise 2.81 times distillation technique which is 0.81 more than the usual Scotch standard has also given it the reputation as the "Beast of Dufftown". Intense, rich and spicy with hints of clove, nutmeg and dark berries leading to a lingering, surprisingly sweet yet dry finish (Tasting Notes from the Producer).

Showcasing the unique character of the long fermentation in wooden washbacks of the Asaka Distillery, this Single Cask has been matured in a First Fill Bourbon Barrel (from Early Times Kentucky Bourbon) #20033 for more than 6 years.  The whisky is bottled at its natural cask strength of 61% ABV. Unchill-filtered and uncompromised, it captures the vivid, authentic character of the whisky straight from the cask. Only 190 bottles have been released across Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

This limited edition distilled in 2008 or 2009 and matured in five first-fill ex-sherry casks (Casks Nos. 644 & 670/2008, 16,444 & 513/2009). A total of 3,153 bottles were released worldwide.

Tasting Note: Nose: Soft with a peppery spice, rich sherry sweetness, and a hint of salty, briny notes. Palate: Rounded and rich in character, with a peppery kick, sherry soaked dark fruits, and a gentle smokiness bringing a savoury, briny character. The sixth batch of Single Malt whisky from Nagahama Distillery features a base of Mizunara oak-aged spirits. Besides showcasing the unique oriental character of Mizunara oak, it also emphasizes the balance between the woody aromas and other flavors.

Nagahama used two distinctly different Mizunara oak cask spirits in the blend:

-First Fill Mizunara oak spirit distilled in 2020, exhibiting strong woody and spicy aromas.
-Second Fill Mizunara oak spirit distilled in the same year, contributing fruity aromas of fresh orange and white peach.

To enrich the flavor profile, Nagahama also added spirits matured in bourbon and Islay Quarter Casks, giving the whisky a touch of sweet tartness and a subtle smokiness. A total of 3,968 bottles were bottled.

Nose:  Woody aroma of Japanese furniture, complemented by the tartness of citrus, the sweetness of toffee, and a light smoky note – quite pleasant. Palate: Medium-bodied, with fruity notes and a sweet-bitter caramel flavor behind the smokiness. Finish: Long smoky woody finish.

It is part of the distillery’s “24 Solar Terms Series,” specifically the 19th release, symbolizing the beginning of summer. This whisky is made using Hokkaido-grown malt and matured primarily in Mizunara oak barrels native to Japan.
