'Kadhambam' means "combination" or "mixture" in the Tamil language (one of the many Indian languages and spoken in the state of Tamil Nadu, Southern India). Amrut Kadhambam was matured in three different cask types - Rum, Sherry, and Brandy, which delivers a combination of the aroma and notes from these three barrels. Matured for 7 years in first fill American white oak casks, this Indian Single Malt Whisky has been distilled from 100% Himalayan six-row barley, bottled at 50% and released in 2017. "Its delectable aromas of citrusy spice and tropical fruit lures you to savour its creamy, butterscotch sweetness.  With complexities and an exquisitely balanced dryness, this is perhaps one of the softest Indian whiskies ever to be bottled" - From the Distillery. 

Nose: Light citrus with manuka honey arrives infused with ripe peach, apricot and vanilla. Palate: Rich mouth feel, sweet butterscotch. Finish: Warm spices reminiscent of toasted oak, and a hint of saltiness.

Released to celebrate Amrut Distillery Chairman, Mr. Neel Jagdale's 60th birthday, only 1350 bottles were released in 2017 (this is the second release). This was the oldest age statement at the time of its release and is part of the Greedy Angel's Series of bottlings (with later releases including a10 year and a 12 year old). Distilled using a mix of unpeated Indian barley and peated Scottish barley, this is a special bottling indeed. Tropical fruits with hints of oak combined with sweet malt and vanilla.

This unique kentucky straight malt whiskey has a soft, sweet, nutty character. Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, this whiskey is crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it similar to bourbon and provides a new experience for bourbon drinkers. Color: Warm Umber Nose: Soft nutty notes drizzled with light caramel and milk chocolate coat a layer of fruit character (apple, dried fruit, tropical fruit). Hints of brown spice, savory mint and brown sugar mingle with a rich note of freshly milled toasted oak Palate: Dark chocolate and caramel coated nuts are dried out with a dusting of cocoa powder and brown spice. This Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon is following the tradition of Old Fitzgerald to use more wheat (instead of rye) as the secondary grain in the mashbill yielding a softer and rounder character.
