Cameronbridge is a pioneering grain whisky distillery established in 1824 by John Haig in Windygates, Fife, Scotland. A rare 17 year old Imperial single malt distilled in 1995, matured in a single cask #50076 and bottled in 2012 by Acorn, Japan's second-oldest independent bottler of Scotch whisky, as part of its Natural Malt Selection. Bottled at a robust 52.3% ABV, this limited independent release offers an opportunity to explore the elegant, fruity and gently waxy character of the now-closed Imperial Distillery.
Imperial Distillery was founded in 1897, but its history was marked by repeated closures and several changes of ownership before it was finally demolished in 2013. Its whisky is now difficult to find and has developed a devoted following for its distinctive floral, cream-soda-like, and gently elegant style. The site was subsequently redeveloped as Dalmunach Distillery, making older Imperial bottlings increasingly collectible.

The eighth batch of Single Malt whisky is a release of 4000 bottles from Nagahama Distillery features spirits distilled between 2020 and 2022 and vatted across different casks. This time around, the distillery combines Japanese Sakura casks and Brazilian Amburana casks for aging its whisky.
This whisky is a blend of (1) spirit distilled in 2021 which has been aged in KOVAL casks followed by an additional 2 years in rare Brazilian Amburana casks and (2) spirit distilled in 2022 and aged for about 4 years in Japanese Sakura casks.
Gentle aromas of Sakuramochi are enhanced by the exotic, spicy character of Amburana casks.
