First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the double distilled, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery. Longrow 1994 vintage is reportedly matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Vintage releases have since been discontinued by the Distillery. Nose: Subtle fruity mix of smoke and wood, a bit of peat, sea salt and seaweed Palate: Sweetness, honey and vanilla, along with some peppery notes and hint of peat Finish: Lingering peat and smoke.
