This unique single malt was specially crafted by Gordon & MacPhail from undisclosed distilleries to commemorate the Royal Marriage of H.R.H Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson on 23rd July 1986. A marriage of whiskies distilled in the years of 1959 and 1960 representing the birth year of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, this was bottled and released in 1986.

This is one of Royal Marriage Series (Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson) 6 special bottlings. Please note the condition of the bottle, fill level and the box. Additional images available on request. Sold in "as is" condition.

This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibbon's Provenance range, distilled in Spring of 1983, matured in single sherry butt #2102 and bottled in Summer of 2005. "A marriage of the sea and fruitiness on the nose, enjoy its saline and marine quality alongside the nuances of its Sherry Cask heritage. On the palate, an initially dry fore-taste runs to pepperiness, softened by the characteristics of the cask. The finish is long, warming, smokey plus the archetypal old leather from Port Ellen which runs on and on, tinged late by sea-weed and iodine. This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibbon's Provenance Range, distilled in Winter of 1982, matured in a Sherry Cask and bottled in Summer of 2005. This is a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength, exclusive to John Milroy. Light golden color with an elegant long lingering aroma of peat and smoke. Fills the palate  with an exquisite coating of tarry seaweed infused with sublime smokey peat and a long nutty fruit finish. Enhanced by the addition of a little water.

Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following.

This Japanese single malt from Ichiro's Malt Chichibu distillery is a vatting of two Chibidaru Casks #2409, #2410 which distilled in 2013 and exclusively bottled for Mitsukoshi Isetan in 2018. Chibidaru casks are the smaller casks similar to quarter casks and hence allow for greater contact with wood (i.e. higher wood to liquid ratio and hence a faster and flavourful maturation). A rare bottling. Sold in "as is" condition.

The first official 10-year bottling from the Chichibu Distillery and hence called "The First Ten" was originally supposed to be released so as to coincide with the 2020 Olympics in Japan. There have been other special, single cask, exclusive releases of 10 years old whisky from Chichibu but this is expected to be forming a part of their regular lineup going forward (similar to On The Way, which was supposed to be capturing their journey towards this very milestone).

Fresh and fruity on the nose coming together with smooth honey on the palate eventually leading to a brilliantly long finish to savour. Some of the malt included in this bottling was grown locally in Chichibu.  For Chichibu fans, this should truly be a milestone to experience. 

The First Ten is bottled at 50.5% ABV, and 5000 bottles were released in November 2020. Bottle number in image for reference only. Rated 5 Stars / 90 points on Whiskyfun.

This rare whisky comprises four different types of malt distilled in 1990 at the Yoichi distillery and aged for 20 years. A rich and deep aroma with a lasting peaty character and a distinctive dry finish. 3500 bottles were released in 2010.

Yoichi Distillery, founded by Masataka Taketsuru (who studied whisky-making in Scotland) in the small town of Yoichi, Hokkaido, is renowned for its commitment to traditional Japanese's whisky-making methods, particularly its use of coal-fired pot stills. This unique distillation technique imparts distinct flavors to the whisky, with the Yoichi 20 Year Old being a luxury bottle.

The Taketsuru range of bottlings usually use malts produced at Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. However, this 35 Year Old released in 2001 is likely to be predominantly include whisky from the Yoichi Distillery. It is one of the oldest & rare bottlings available (very limited, 700 bottles were released in 2001) with whiskies which were distilled in 1965 or earlier. Originally such releases were focused on the Japan market only.
