Nose: Aromatic and perfumed with lavender, leather, woodsmoke, mint, salted caramel, and dark chocolate Palate: An oily mouthfeel balancing sugary sweet notes of pear crumble and toffee with savory sea salt, tar, and robust bonfire smoke Finish: Long and lingering, fading from ash and white pepper into a drying, tannic, and minty finish

This expression showcases how extended maturation can soften Caol Ila’s signature smoke while revealing layered fruit, spice, and maritime elegance. Only 262 bottles released. This single cask (cask #5298) bottling is highly rated on Whiskybase at 90+.

Multiple 1983 Signatory casks at around 30–31 years old are highly praised by reviewers and collectors for their balance and finesse. Long‑aged Caol Ila of this calibre is often described as “old Islay at its best,” with smoke beautifully integrated into fruit, spice, and refined complexity—underscoring the consistent quality across different casks from this vintage. Matured for 26 years in 2 ex‑bourbon barrels (casks #30734 & #30735), this independent bottling was only released 243 bottles. This bottling is highly rated on Whiskybase at 88.6+ from 59 votes.

Nose: Very sweet, rich toffee, popcorn kernels and salted caramel Palate: hints of hickory smoke and jerky chicken. Aniseed is then present in the background. Finish: Quite a malty finish then liquorice and burnt sugar come through

This is an Independent Bottling of Single Grain Whisky from the Cameronbridge Distillery, matured in Ex Bourbon Hogsheads and finished in 1st Fill Sauternes Wine Finish (sweet French dessert wine cask imparting rich fruit and honey notes) and bottled by Murray McDavid under their "Mission Gold" Series. 372 Bottles were Released in 2022.

Cameronbridge is a pioneering grain whisky distillery established in 1824 by John Haig in Windygates, Fife, Scotland. As the first to produce grain whisky at significant scale, it has remained a cornerstone of Scottish whisky production for nearly two centuries. The distillery underwent comprehensive modernization between 1989 and 1992, resuming operations in 2000 as part of the Diageo portfolio. While the majority of its spirit feeds premium blends, Cameronbridge releases official bottlings and supports independent releases through respected bottlers such as Murray McDavid, Signatory Vintage, and Duncan Taylor, offering connoisseurs access to its distinctive grain character.

A 30 year old Highland single grain from Invergordon, distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2018 by Douglas Laing as part of its Old Particular range. Matured for three decades in a refill hogshead (cask #DL12755). Only 322 bottle released, showcasing an elegance and complexity that well‑aged grain whisky can achieve—soft, sweet, and surprisingly nuanced.

Tasting note: Nose: Shows early sugar and coffee connotations plus corn oil and fudge. Palate: Incredibly sweet with a ginger prickle vanilla, limes and syrup. Finish: Candyfloss to the fore plus subtle spices, cereals and more sugar.

This Single Cask Whisky distilled in 1997 at The Old Pulteney Distillery has been matured in American Oak ex Bourbon Casks for ~ 18 years and bottled exclusively for the 10th anniversary of the Modern Malt Whisky Market in 2015. The Modern Malt Whisky Market is a very popular annual Whisky Festival held in Tokyo, Japan. 

210 Bottles were released for the Japan market.
