Cameronbridge is a pioneering grain whisky distillery established in 1824 by John Haig in Windygates, Fife, Scotland. As the first to produce grain whisky at significant scale, it has remained a cornerstone of Scottish whisky production for nearly two centuries. The distillery underwent comprehensive modernization between 1989 and 1992, resuming operations in 2000 as part of the Diageo portfolio. Tasting note: Nose: Shows early sugar and coffee connotations plus corn oil and fudge. Palate: Incredibly sweet with a ginger prickle vanilla, limes and syrup. Finish: Candyfloss to the fore plus subtle spices, cereals and more sugar.

Beloved by the Committee, this New Release traces the old delicate peat profile note by note and has been bottled at 40%/Chill Filtered. This is the renewed 17 Years Old Ardbeg.

Nose: Fresh and clean , with hints of pine resin, aniseed, sea spray and lavender soap very gentle, very restrained, and rather elegant for an Ardbeg. With water, there is a distinctive, flinty minerality, along with subtle hints of sweet peat smoke, malted barley, and a touch of toasting bread. Palate: A beautiful, creamy texture is followed by a lovely combination of flavours, with aniseed toffee, café latte, fennel and gentle antiseptic soap. This elegant Speyside single malt displays layers of soft malt, dried fruit, honeyed sweetness, caramelised nuts, and polished oak, followed by a smooth, gently spiced finish. Mature and increasingly difficult to find, it is a fine example of Knockando’s vintage-led style and the distinctive character of the Master Reserve range.

Each annual release brings to life a chapter of the distillery’s history. The 2025 Edition focuses on the founder, Shinjiro Torii’s continued determination during the distillery’s construction and its early, challenging years.

Color: Deep, radiant reddish-amber—hints of sun-ripened fruit and aged oak. Nose: Rich dried persimmon, warm clove spice, vanilla custard, and subtle dark chocolate; soft floral undertones (cherry blossom) and a whisper of smoky peat. Palate: Full-bodied and silky, with layers of orange marmalade, red bean paste sweetness, and dried fruit (raisin, fig); Mizunara oak adds sandalwood and coconut, while Spanish oak brings bright citrus. Finish: Long, lingering, and complex—smoky spice, dark chocolate, and a gentle umami warmth that echoes Yamazaki’s misty valley terroir.

Blackadder Inchgower 20 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was independently bottled by Blackadder as Raw Cask Statement Edition No. 12 to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Distilled in July 1995 and bottled in September 2015 after 20 years in a single sherry butt, it was released at 57.6% ABV (cask strength) without chill filtration or without addition of any colouring. The Raw Cask series also tends to have natural cask sediment since the whisky is not heavily filtered. 582 bottles were produced. Bottle number for reference only.
