GlenAllachie is currently one of Scotland's few independent distilleries, led by iconic Master Distiller Billy Walker (previously from Glendronach). This 8 years bottling has been matured in PX, Oloroso, Virgin Oak & 1st fill bourbon. Natural colour, Non chill filtered and released at a strength of 46% ABV. 

Nose: Heather honey, butterscotch and cinnamon, followed by waves of of ginger, toasted almonds and mocha. Taste: Lastings oftreacle, dried sultanas and butterscotch, with cinnamon, peppermint and honeycomb. (Tasting Notes form distillery)

GlenAllachie is currently one of Scotland's few independent distilleries, led by iconic Master Distiller Billy Walker. This 12 years release is a vatting of whiskies matured in a variety of casks including PX, Oloroso, Virgin Oak and bottled at natural colour, non chill filtered at a strength of 46%. 

Nose: Layers of orange zest, heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins, with notes of mocha lingering in the background. Taste: Bursts of orange zest, heather honey and damsons, followed by lashings of mocha, dark chocolate, cinnamon, figs and dates. Mars Tsunuki distillery is the second distillery of the Hombo Shuzo Group, launched in 2016. This is the 2023 release by the Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima (where with a wide range of temperatures and blessed with high quality spring water from the Mt. Kurata mountain), with a release of 35,800 bottles. This is the 4th product release of single malt whisky distilled at Tsunuki (The Second Release of the Annual 'Year Edition').

Matured in the bourbon barrels for about 6 years. Nose: Marmalade jam along with sweet notes of honey, pancake, and a subtle smoke Palate: Citrus fruits, lemon peel and fresh malt Finish: Full-bodied sweetness balanced by a pleasant bitterness.

The distillery uses high-quality barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's fertile South Island. This meticulous selection process, coupled with slow fermentation, distillation, and careful maturation in first-fill casks, gives Pōkeno Whisky its distinctive character.

This Single Cask was distilled on 30 April 2019 and bottled on 10 August 2022. After a full maturation in a first fill bourbon barrel this Single Cask was finished in a PX Sherry Butt from Miguel Martin, for a period of 6 months. A limited release of 880 bottles.

Nose: Rich and inviting aromas of ripe cherries, Christmas cake, and dark chocolate. Palate: A harmonious blend of sweet citrus and vanilla, complemented by the rich sherry influences. Finish: A beautifully balanced finish that lingers with hints of fruit and sweetness, showcasing the whisky's intricate character. (Tasting Note from distillery)

A rare old bottling from Highland Park distilled in 1977 and bottled in 1998 to celebrate the Bicentenary (200 golden years from 1798 to 1998) of the distillery. A very popular bottling when released and a rare bottle of whisky which is difficult to find.

Originally about 12000 bottles are estimated to have been released with a further 690 bottles released in 2008 (these 690 bottles were originally set aside apparently for samples and tasting but were "forgotten" and eventually found and released for the Japanese market with a slightly different wooden box).

Tamras Gin starts its journery with the highest quality Neutral Grain Spirit distilled from the finest Punjab Rice in India. The botanicals are carefully sourced and distilled in their small-batch 230 litre Müeller Copper Still, "Odysseus". The traditional method of using a Copper Still ensures an ultra-refined liquid, and a smooth mouth-feel with delicate flavours kept intact.

The botanicals are distilled in groups as individual distillates in a recipe defined by the Master Distiller from Germany - Julia Nourney. The individual distillate route allows them to use whole fruit citrus harvested only in winter and distill more delicate botanicals like Nilgiri Tea and Indian Mint at their own speed uncompromised by the presence of other botanicals. The distillates are left to rest. No sugar, artificial flavours or essences are added. Every drop of Neutral Grain Spirit is redistilled. The distillates are married together for slow dilution with filtered water over 28 days. Slow-dilution ensures a more integrated and harmonious flavour. Finally, Tāmras Gin is bottled and labelled at the distillery in Goa itself ready to enjoy in your favourite cocktail or just neat.

Botanicals include Juniper Berries, Corriander Seeds, Lotus Flowers, Lotus Seeds, Mausambi, Indian Lemon, Grapefruit, Nilgiri Tea, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Fennel Seeds, Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Cubeb Peppers, Lemon Verbena.

Triple Distillation helps to concentrate not only the alcohol in the whisky, but also helps create lighter, more fruity flavours. Having only two stills, we performed the final two distillations in our 3600 litre spirit still, separating the hearts from the heads and tails each time. This bottling has been matured in only the finest first fill bourbon barrels.

Nose: Rich honey and vanilla with hints of citrus and toffee. Palate: A delightful mix of rich vanilla bean and butterscotch, complemented by sweet citrus notes and a hint of pepper clove. Finish: A long and rich finish, leaving a memorable impression. (Tasting Note from Distillery)

The winter malt was inspired by the unique selection of New Zealand malts that we chose for our mashbill: Manuka Smoked Mal, Chocolate Roasted Malt, Toffee Malt, Laureate Distillers Malt. Then the distillery aged the Winter malt in only the finest first fill bourbon barrels.

Manuka Smoked Malt: The world’s only manuka smoked malt, offering a smooth, sweet smokiness.
Chocolate Roasted Malt: Specially roasted for Pōkeno, featuring delightful coffee and chocolate aromas.
Toffee Malt: Roasted at low temperatures and caramelized, imparting honey and toffee flavors.
Laureate Distillers Malt: A sweet and floral malt that enhances the overall profile.

Totara is the indigenous tree that built Aotearoa. From the arrival of Maori, the timber from this tree was used to build waka, homes, carvings, weapons and containers for storing food. After a full maturation in first fill bourbon casks, we have transferred the whisky to the totara barrels for a second maturation period.

Nose: Creamy coconut, sweet-scented sap, ripe white peach, and freshly cut wood. Palate: Bitter lemon, stone fruit, and hints of dark chocolate. Finish: A long and sweet finish, leaving a lasting impression of the Totara influence. (Tasting Note from distillery)

This is in fact a doublewood. We have combined whiskies matured in first fill bourbon barrels and PX Hogsheads, into a PX hogshead for a marrying period of several months. 

Nose: An enticing aroma of citrus intertwined with rich, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Palate: A harmonious blend of flavors including black forest gâteau, complemented by the deep, luscious notes from the PX cask. Finish: A deep and lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression.
