We are delighted to present an exclusive whisky masterclass, “The PHILOSOPHY of our CASK Selection: A Journey since 2014 with MIZUNARA,” at the Hong Kong Whisky Festival 2026. Join our Founder & Director, Mr. Chandrakant Mohanty, as he walks you through the "WHY, WHAT and HOW" of the Mizunara Cask Selection process, while exploring the depth and character of some of our private cask selections.
Tasting will be in a "BLIND & RANDOM" Sequence along with cask samples that Mizunara decided NOT to bottle. Participants have to pick what they would bottle Vs what Mizunara actually bottled! Its going to be a fun 45 minutes!

This Saturday, November 29th, Mizunara: The Library will come alive with the spirit of Shibushi City, Kagoshima — the home of Wakashio Distillery — and the warmth of its twin city, Naples. It will be a night of stories told through flavours: shochu cocktails inspired by Kagoshima’s craftsmanship, paired with vibrant canapé designed by Chef Antimo from Estro that echo the heart of Naples.
Together with our guest Yosuke Kamimura-san from Wakashio Distillery, flying in from Kagoshima, we’ve created a special cocktail and canapé menu that celebrates A Tale of Twin Cities — Kagoshima Shochu Cocktails X Napoli Canapés.

We will be welcoming Yasuhiro Kawakubo-San, Director of Bars at The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza @editionginza, along with his talented bartending team from Punch Room Tokyo (The Tokyo EDITION Ginza – Japan).
The acclaimed Punch Room @punchroomedition draws inspiration from 19th-century London private clubs and offers authentic punches, likely the first in Japan to do so. Their menu features a local twist, showcasing native ingredients for a sustainable element.
