As we know, the usual Yamazaki bottlings are not usually very peated, except for specific heavily peated releases in the past. Matured in American oak barrels and hogsheads, this represents one of the key component malts. Color: pale straw Nose: wood smoke and barbequed pineapple Palate: Sweet creamy vanilla combined with subtle smoke Finish: peppery and spicy with continued smoke. Delightfully smoky and pleasant.

TUN 1509 is one of Balvenie's traditional oak vatting/marrying vessels with a capacity of 8000L. The size of these TUNs allowed Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE (with over 50 years of experience) and who possesses an unequalled knowledge of The Balvenie to hand-select a variety of vintage casks and marry them in Tun 1509, housed in Warehouse 24. Three months of vatting then results in this exceptionally complex and rare single malt Scotch whisky, rated 5 Stars (90 points) by Whiskyfun.

The success of The Balvenie's TUN 1401 series meant that a bigger vat was needed, and in came TUN 1509. One batch is bottled each year and The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 1 was launched in 2014.The second batch of TUN1509 released in 2015 comprises 23 American oak barrels and nine European oak sherry butts. This is a limited release of 8,500 bottles.

A older version of this Yamazaki 18 years.  A big favourite from the Suntory lineup and a highly awarded whisky. Largely matured in ex-sherry casks.

Color: Deep amber Nose: Raisin, apricot, cafe au lait, Mizunara (Japanese oak) Palate: Blackberry, strawberry jam, dark chocolate. Finish: Long, spicy, smooth and a fair amount of cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. (Suntory's Tasting Notes) 

Whiskyfun gave this 90 points.  Supreme Champion Spirit award at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) in 2025, SWSC Double Gold Medal in 2005, IWSC Trophy in 2006 and ISC Gold in 2007. This is bottled prior to 2018.

This Sullivans Cove 16 Years Old Single Malt Whisky is a rare bottling, meticulously matured in American Oak single cask #TD0331 by Tasmania’s small-scale craft distillery Sullivans Cove. The distillery started in 1994 was crowned the world’s best Single Malt, in 2014 as the first outside of Scotland or Japan to win “World’s Best Single Malt,” followed by “World’s Best Single Cask” triumphs in 2018 and 2019.

This exclusive bottling commemorates both Mizunara's 10th Anniversary and a two-decade friendship between Mr. Barry Eric Dick and Mizunara's founder (at US Investment bank Merrill Lynch), rooted in their shared appreciation for exceptional whisky. Barry's passion for Thor comics, sparked at the age of 10, and his later appreciation for fine whisky converge in this exceptional single cask bottling, titled very aptly "Whisky & Friends: The Best Pairing of All." 

On the nose, expect ripe pineapple and greengage with baked pastry notes. The palate delivers full body and silky texture with figs in syrup, candied fruits, and malt, while the finish gracefully unfolds with liquorice, shortbread, and citrus. A truly special single cask that celebrates friendship and fine whisky craftsmanship.

This is the general release (hence called Untamed Release) of 2011 Ardbeg Committee Release - Alligator - named such due to the high level of char of the virgin American White Oak casks used for maturation, which makes the inside of the cask surface look like an alligator skin. 

Color: Gold Nose: Smoked root ginger and barbeque sauce with chocolate, cumin and warm oak shavings in the background Palate: Hot and spicy, smoked and charred with a leathery and sooty mouth feel. While 90,000 bottles were released then, it has been one of the hugely popular bottlings being a rich, dark and a delicious 12 Year Old to come out of this famous Speyside distillery. Matured in first fill Oloroso Sherry oak casks this delivers deep and rich notes of sherried fruits, dark chocolate and a range of spices. An increasingly difficult bottle to find.

Please note that the label would have stains on the front and back label with some minor creases on the box. However the seal is in good condition. SOLD IN "AS IS" CONDITION.

Hart Brothers, Donald & Alistair established their Independent Bottling business in 1964 and this bottling of Littlemill captures their "spirit of excellence" while selecting and bottling casks. Distilled in November 1988 and matured in a first fill port pipe cask, this is a very rare Littlemill which was bottled in February 2015.

Nose: Red fruits, strawberry, raspberry combining the fresh sweetness and sourness along with some citrus, oak spices, vanilla and dark caramel Palate: Dry sweetness with leathery tobacco and peppery spicy notes Finish: Dark Chocolate with presence of nuts, light pepper, sour fruits and a long warming finish.
