This world blended whisky, crafted by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu Distillery, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Venture Whisky. Established in September 2004, at a time when the whisky industry was struggling, Chichibu aimed to share the original spirits inherited from Ichiro Akuto's father while crafting a new Whisky which captured the essence of Japanese Whisky making and blending.
The whisky combines oak-aged malt and grain whiskies from various renowned regions, including those from the Chichibu Distillery, which began operations in 2008. Carefully matured in Chichibu’s cellars, the result is a well-balanced whisky with a distinctive character. The composition reflects the history of Venture Whisky, and the distillery expresses gratitude to its supporters, hoping they will continue to enjoy their offerings for years to come.
The whisky has an aroma of golden peach, pineapple, honey, mint, and cinnamon. It tastes malty and sweet, with juicy fruit, vanilla, and spices, finishing with a complex blend of acidity, spiciness, and lingering sweetness.

A special release, exclusively bottled for the 30th Anniversary of Bon Liquor Shop, this is a Single Cask blended whisky from Chichibu (comprising malt & grain) matured in a Bourbon Barrel Cask #4080 and bottled at an impressive 59%. 250 Bottles were released in November 2016.
Please note that the box is likely to have minor damage due to normal wear and tear. Sold in "as is" condition.

"This whisky is blended by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu Distillery. He travels to find casks to perfect his blend, in addition to his Chichibu single malt. This is World Blended Whisky". This blend includes whiskies from 5 different regions, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and USA. A subtle nose, combined with a very balanced and rounded palate starting off with fresh sweetness and finishing with delicate, bitter chocolates at the backend. Citrus notes waft in and out along with some earthy / spicy notes. A perfect start to an evening. No Box Available.
