The First Release of Kanosuke Single Malt Peated Whisky
This is the first edition peated release from KANOSUKE’s flagship Single Malt series. ”Breeze“ embodies the elegant and refined essence nurtured by the sea winds of Kagoshima‘s Fukiagehama.
Bottled at an ABV of 48%, this mellow and sophisticated peated single malt Japanese whisky is crafted using re-charred ex-shochu casks and bourbon barrels. This non-chill filtered whisky features a blend of peated whiskies as a key malt, carefully vatted with specially selected casks of finished whiskies. It has proudly received Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Blackcurrant, caramel, honey butter, baguette, and gentle bonito dashi.
- Taste: Quince candy, pear, kumquat compote, smoked bacon, salt candy, and soybean flour.
- Finish: A long aftertaste of quince with a hint of kumquat peel.

Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or as a refreshing highball. It pairs beautifully with smoked nuts, bacon burgers, or seaside seafood barbecues.
