輕井澤蒸餾所（已關閉）

輕井澤最初是一家小型釀酒廠，位於日本淺間山（一座活火山，最後一次噴發於 2004 年）山腳下。創始人鈴木中司是味之素品牌的次子，1939 年開始釀造清酒，然後才開始蒸餾威士忌。1949 年，公司更名為 Miraku Breweries Corp，1955 年，輕井澤酒廠在靠近日本味之素山的地方建成淺間，開始生產威士忌。

該釀酒廠於 2000 年代中期（大約在釀酒廠停止生產的時間）被收購為麒麟控股的子公司，並最終於 2011 年關閉並拆解，出售所有剩餘庫存。作為一個安靜的釀酒廠和一些優秀的成熟產品，輕井澤威士忌在某種程度上已成為收藏品。
