格蘭哥尼

這家小型農場酒廠於 1833 年在蘇格蘭高地地區的 Dumgoyne 成立，前身為 Burnfoot 酒廠，後更名為 Glen Guin，並最終於 1905 年更名為 Glengoyne。

Gelngoyne 新酒以其漫長的發酵過程和在三個蒸餾器（一次洗滌，兩種烈酒）中緩慢蒸餾而聞名和果味餾出物。在 Edrington 擁有期間，傳統上在前 Sherry Butts 中成熟，這種成熟風格自 2003 年以來一直是新主人 Ian MacLeod 領導下的釀酒廠的標誌。

Glengoyne dries its malted barley by air (peat is not used) and traditionally matures in ex-Sherry casks. Also reputed to have a long fermentation period combined with a slow distillation process, this 15 year aged bottling from the distillery delivers a complex sweet and rounded with oak spices and light vanilla notes in the finish.

The first release in the "Art of Glengoyne" series carries a watercolor painting of the distillery with the snow capped peak of Dumgoyne hill by the Edinburgh based artist David Brogan. Like all Glengoyne malts, this 10 year old is distilled from air-dried barley without any peat smoke. With a natural bright gold color and a smooth warming palate, this will remind you of green apples, oak and toffee with a hint of almonds and liquorice. A sweet malty finish.
