波摩艾雷島單一麥芽蘇格蘭威士忌

波摩（Bowmore）被譽為艾雷島自1779年以來最古老的釀酒廠之一，但卻是在1816年才正式獲得生產威士忌的許可證。酒廠位於艾雷島的中心地帶，在其歷史上幾經易手，最著名的是在1837年和1963年轉交給Stanley P Morrison，之後日本烈酒商三得利（Suntory）於1989年收購了其股份，並於1994年取得了完全控制權。酒廠自行進行約40%的發麥需求，剩餘的麥芽來自英國本土，整體產出中度泥煤風味的威士忌。其煙燻味具有獨特的鹹味，並帶有柑橘皮和花香，如果長期在續填桶中熟成，會使泥煤味不那麼明顯。波摩傳奇的1號酒窖大部分採用雪莉桶熟成，由於其位於印達爾湖（Loch Indaal）水平面以下，提供了獨特的潮濕環境。了解更多
