明石 Akashi

Eigashima Shuzo（位於兵庫縣明石漁村）成立於 1888 年，持有日本第一張威士忌許可證，於 1919 年頒發，至今仍是日本歷史最悠久、規模最小的威士忌生產商之一。源於江戶時代的清酒釀造，釀酒廠（也稱為白橡木釀酒廠）的官方威士忌生產僅在 1960 年代初期開始，當時安裝了小型銅鍋蒸餾器，而該釀酒廠直到 1984 年才開始正式生產麥芽酒，當目前的銅鍋蒸餾器投入使用時。

Distilled at Eigashima White Oak Distillery, this bottling has been finished in Tawny Port Wine Casks. Bottled for the Modern Malt Whisky Market 2021.
