Dalmore Master Blender - Richard Paterson created this Dalmore Seasons Collection, bringing together four unique single malt whiskies, each of which represents one of the four seasons. Bottled exclusively for Taiwan and limited to 529 sets worldwide. Matured mostly in American bourbon cask and then finished in one of four different wood types personally selected by Richard Paterson to showcase the four seasons. Spring Edition – Finished in Madeira Wine Casks; Summer Edition – Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks; Autumn Edition – Finished in Apostles Sherry Casks; Winter Edition – Finished in Matusalem Oloroso Sherry Casks.

This Pluscarden Valley Speyside Whisky was matured for 25 years in sherry cask #01003, especially selected for an independent bottler Silver Seal. Bottled at 53.5% ABV (cask strength) and limited to 230 bottles. The distillery is listed as “Pluscarden Valley” on the label—a name commonly understood to refer to Miltonduff.
Pluscarden Valley is a brand of Single Malt Scotch whisky produced at the Miltonduff distillery in Elgin, Moray in the Speyside region. Most bottlings being offered in the market are usually released by notable Italian independent bottlers such as Sestante and Silver Seal. Generally the whisky has fruity character, with an oily mouthfeel.

A much awarded Whisky including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005. Rated 91+/92+ (over 175/400 votes) on Whiskybase depending on the specific year of the releases. Various releases during this period are rated 5 Stars/93 or 94 Points on Whisky Fun.

The Johnnie Walker Gold Label 15-year-old was launched in 1990, initially developed as a special, high-end release for the Japanese market. This rare 15-year-old expression preceded the later "Gold Label Centenary Blend" (18-year-old) that was introduced in 1995. A rare old bottling at 43% ABV which occasionally appears in vintage auctions and specialist retailers.
This bottle was specifically released for the Japan market.

Nose: spicy, clean and sweet with gentle barley tones Palate: still, overtly and warmly spiced with a sweet gristiness Finish: lightly butterscotch in style and camphor character (Bottler Tasting Notes).

A non-chill filtered Balvenie which was matured in traditional oak whisky casks (i.e. ex-Bourbon American Oak) and further finished in Golden Caribbean Rum cask. Bottled at 47.5%, this is a beautiful combination of fruit and spice. Chocolate, orange and vanilla build into a dry oaky finish. (Tasting Notes from Producer). This was launched in 2010 as a travel retail exclusive.
Please note the stain on the label and the box and level of whisky. The seal is in good condition. This product is sold in "As Is" condition.

Each year, the Distillery Manager at Laphroaig (John Campbell in this case) handcrafts a limited edition for the "Friends of Laphroaig" to celebrate friendship ("Cairdeas" in Gaelic). Released at Fèis Ìle 2015 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary, 100% floor malted barley (from the distillery's own small malting floor) was used with the two smaller and older stills. Reportedly matured in ex-bourbon casks for about 11-12 years, this bottling captures Master Distiller John Campbell's vision of how Laphroaig was originally produced.

The 5 part Artist Series includes five carefully selected single-cask whiskeys which are combined with the work of five representative artists in Taiwan. For the fifth (S&W #005) and final release they have chosen a 31 Years Old Whisky from the Dufftown Distillery in Speyside. This cask was selected under Diageo's Cask of Distinction program which represents some of their rarest and exclusive stock of Whisky Casks and combined with the original work of world-class calligrapher Mr. Wu Jiru - making this a very rare bottling indeed.
Matured in a Single American Oak Cask Cask No. 14536 this Whisky from Dufftown Distillery has been bottled after 31 Years at Natural Cask Strength. Filled on 15 December 1988 and bottled in 2020 only 219 bottles were released. Blackadder Inchgower 20 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was independently bottled by Blackadder as Raw Cask Statement Edition No. 12 to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Distilled in July 1995 and bottled in September 2015 after 20 years in a single sherry butt, it was released at 57.6% ABV (cask strength) without chill filtration or without addition of any colouring. The Raw Cask series also tends to have natural cask sediment since the whisky is not heavily filtered. 582 bottles were produced. Bottle number for reference only.
The sherry maturation adds an old-school depth to Inchgower’s salty, maritime character. Rated highly on Whiskybase at +87.

A fully sherry cask matured whisky from Balvenie, which is unusual. Each bottle is part of a batch which comprises a few hundred bottles coming from a single cask and hence likely to somewhat different than the other batch while retaining the characteristics of Balvenie's spirit and flavours of rich sherry oak, dried fruits and subtle spices overlaid with a soft nuttiness and a nice long finish.
