Talisker 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Awarded the 'Best Single Malt Whisky in the World' at the World Whiskies Awards in 2007. A great balance between peat, spices such as black pepper and sweetness. Color: Amber Nose : Rich and fruity with dried orange peel, rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind. With water, some sea/maritime/seaweed notes  emerge. Palate: Sweet in front, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke some, coal-tar and toffee. Honey smoked bacon perhaps. Long, spicy and peaty finish. An elegantly balanced whisky.
