This Longrow Red single malt whisky has been matured for 11 years in bourbon barrels followed by 4 years in fresh Pinot Noir barriques from acclaimed wine maker Grant Taylor's Valli vineyards in Central Otago, New Zealand. Nose: Lots of wine flavour, fresh and bit smoky, some red fruit like cherry and floral nosing. Palate: Smooth and sweet red grapes and black fruit, oak flavour, nutty, cloves Finish: Long finish, smoky and tobacco with little sweet fruits in the background.
