Region: Highlands (Scotland)
Reported to be bottled in around 2004. Initially matured in American White Oak casks, then transferred into ‘pipes’ which previously contained Port for a further period of maturation. Balance of sweetness and dryness, chocolate bitterness, a note of fresh mint with some hints of port and walnut (Tasting Notes from the Distillery). Score 83+ points on Whiskybase (225 votes). A great way to sample some older Glenmorangie.
Please note that the box and bottle have normal wear and tear. Please examine the pictures closely before your purchase. Sold in "As Is" condition.
