The Ardbeg Alligator Committee Reserve "For Discussion" is a rare, discontinued 2011 single malt Scotch whisky bottled exclusively for members of the Ardbeg Committee at 51.2% ABV. About 10,000 bottles were released in 2011.

The origin of the Name "Alligator" for this series is based on the intense charring of the oak barrels which cracks the wood, making it look like alligator skin. "For Discussion" implies - Released as an exclusive preview to gather feedback from the Committee before the wider, general commercial release of the standard Ardbeg Alligator
