First released since 2021 as a part of the core release in limited batches from the Ardbeg Distillery, this specific bottle was bottled in Oct 2021. The whisky was distilled during the 1990s (some of the darkest days of the Distillery and when the production volume was quite small) and matured in ex-bourbon casks. "Smoked cream, earthy bonfires interlaced with layers of pine and fragrant candle wax. Hot pepper twists around sherbet lemon sweetness and hints of carbolic soap and tar with a finish of delicate aniseed, cream and fudge." - Producer Tasting Notes.
