Evan Williams often referred to as "Kentucky's First Distiller" since he started distilling in 1783 on the bank of Ohio River created a pioneering tradition that is still carried on though such bottlings. Distilled using the same traditional sour mash process and recipe this is a vatting of a limited number of barrels, making it a small batch release.
